IanB 0
Inevitably when you stand still your feet get cold, especially in these snow/frost conditions, heat is sapped away.... Keep moving Quote Link to post

EastTyrone 2
a few pairs of socks and keep on the move, thats what i wear out shooting, or else a good pair of boots Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
You want the thermal socks that wick, that way you dont have moisture next to your skin, the downfall with wellies is they make your feet sweat Quote Link to post
JohnGalway 1,043
Pair of thinner socks then one or two pairs of WOOL socks, depending on space in the boot. If your feet get wet from sweating they'll be cold, might sound silly but some roll on antipersperant might help with that. Also, if the fit in the welly is too tight your feet will also get cold from poor circulation. Quote Link to post
hollands hope 1,024
get some pieces of carpet and cut into the size you want and put them into your wellies, cheap option .make sure your wellies are always dry inside as the moisture will make your feet cold! :)Just to add use new carpet Edited January 29, 2010 by hollands hope Quote Link to post
