bogwoppit 0 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Share Posted November 21, 2009 Went back to the big warren this morning, had to put out 150+ nets out last time so "peterbirdman" brought along his longnet today, got 12 in total but they came in a steady stream keeping us occupied, Patch was invaluable again holding them in net whilst us old men did our version of getting there fast, he also snatched one out of the hole and refused to give up on one that managed to creep inside an old rotten railway sleeper. Well done lads, thats some harsh ground in the second pic with the longnet set around 90% of the ground we ferret is like that Stealthy, like that or in blackthorn hedges. I wonder why I bother sometimes, maximum effort for a handful of poxy coney.... ...then a rabbit hits a net with a ferret on it's arse and I remember, I do it because I fecking love it!
