Bogis, Bunce and Bean,

one fat , one short, one lean,

those horrible crooks,

all different in looks,

were none the less equally mean.

Even though i read this Roald Dahl book many years ago i can still remember the little poem.

I like catchy poems!!

The book was actually called "fantastic Mr Fox" and was one of several i used to read and re-read at the time. Others being Danny the champion of thw World and a little known book called "The Sheep Pig" which, actually, was turned into the film "Babe". I havent seen the film, but i am sure it doesnt capture the imagination like that book did to a word-mad kid..... JD

The film got "premiered" last night.

George Clooney does the voice of Mr Fox. Supposed to be v good. Many plaudits.

Can't remember whether George is an anti tho'. Probably is, most "luvvies" are. Helps their public image.

Can anyone name an actor who is pro hunting?

Oliver Reed. Also interesting that one of Britain's leading philosophers, Roger Scruton, is strongly pro-hunting.

Few and far between though, and mostly older I fear.

Or dead even! Who TF is Roger Scrotum?

If he's pro hunting it'd probably be why I've never heard of him!............Sorry mate just re read the type........

For a moment I thought you meant ollie Reed was a leading philosopher! Blimey we're all philosophers after the amount he drank!

So Roger isn't an actor.............?

See it proves my point! This country is so obsessed with image that being pro hnt would damage your standing in the celebrity stakes. 'kin Sad I say
