lurcher-lass 1
Was just wonder how all you guys/girls got into hunting, from a child, friend, family, or maybe you came on the forum for a look and decided it was for you. My family is big iv 6 sisters, and all of us apart from one, takes part in some type of country sport, from a young age we have all grow up in the hunting scene. lurcher, terriers, ferrets, guns, rods etc, Not everone thinks its very lady like to be covered in muck and dressed in cammo, but i think it great that women can take part as well, and its not something that only men can do. well cant wait to hear some of your tales get typing

craigyboy 1,274
i got into it at the age of about 7 with my dad and brother,we did it purely to put meat on the table as we didnt have much when we were growing up,but we had good food,we were surrounded by countryside so the veg side of things we just collected from the farmers fields, as we kept his rabbits down he never seemed to mind...the good old days eh Edited September 19, 2009 by craigyboy
