    well wel well, what a day...4 foxes!!! First place me and john tried was a small 5 hole place which his bitch marked so we collared her up and let her in and after literally 5 mins a nice big fox bolted out of an unseen hole and was off like a rocket. Netted this hole up and the russell showed and was keen to get back so we pulled her out and let my bitch go. She flew to ground and was soon baying. We left it a good half hour and i was just about to start searching when we heard loads of thumping and moving and a noce dog fox bolted out the same hole with my bitch hot on its hells. I was absol

    how true nog let it wipe out all our native wildlife,with full protection from the law,wish i was a scholar,so i could understand it im currently doing a degree in ecology and wildlife management, but it dont make it any clearer mate How they can make it wrong to control alien pests is beyond me....they may aswell give the grey squirel some sort of protection. The people that make these laws are clueless fools in suits. Leave the coutryside to those who live and work in it i say and ban every other fecker

    good do went out today with my bitch, and bolted 8 out of a pile of rubble but all of them made it the short distance to the pile of tyres, except 1! grabbed hold of 3 others so they wont last long

    not aslong as you would have thought. Dorset pirate blood running throuhg my viens you see. All the mornings out looking for the elusive Vulpes vulpes gives me time to map certain things out, im actaully a part time cartographer aswell which helps haha

    Went for a walk this afternoon close to home on some ground i got, chucked a few nets in me pocket with the collar and a spade in me coat. Was planning to have a look at a small copse i havent been to since the summer when i found a few dug out holes. Walked across one field to a break in the hedge and what did i see....mr fox making a get away straight towards the copse! I thought this was gunna be the day everything came together for me little bitch! Ssee saw it and it was nose down and tried her hardest to drag me up to the copse.     i mean that i have found that you get the same depth reading a foot either side of where the collar actually is...if you get what i mean. Not that it matters a great deal i wouldnt have thought i you dig a big enough hole

    on;y thing iv found with the bellman set up is you cant pin point exactly, unlike you can wit hthe old deben ( even then iv only used it on ferrets), but the new deben i wank and good for nothing! I dont know how the ortovox works, but like i said, the bellman had the better reviews from blokes off here and its dead easy to use and worth the extra cash in my opinion

    by small do you mean one of those nasty snipey headed looking russels ..... or just a small sized head?? A photo would be good main thing is though like lurcher boy said, if the hearts there it should do the job ( aswell as the blood going through its veins!!)
