  1. not mange!! signs of work that...looks like he been working and rubbed his eyebrows off. Same thing happened to my bitch
  2. wouldnt waste your time....theres a chance a good dog could be in the litter but its to much of an arse ache i recon. You would be better off getting one pup from a litter of proven parents and focusing soley on foxes with it instead of potentially breeding a litter of utter shite earth dogs if thats what your after
  3. well good stuff for giving it a go but think you could have gone with better company
  4. ahhh right i see, i got mine for free! i feel priviledged now Who did you have a chat with up there?
  5. im thinking id rather do countryside management! i found it better. When i was there we did the DSC1 as part of the deer management module, so call up and see if they still do it as part of the countryside management course before you splash out money for it. The gamekeeping course is very specific which is good if you know you want to do gamekeeping, but is pretty pointless in my eyes as i found you cant get a keepering job unless you have the experience, so the qualification is worthless
  6. I passed mine last year. It will be easier than you think i bet. Just read up one each deer species and learn everything you can about their biology and ecology and then read up on the firearms side of things Its all multiple choice so even if your not 100% sure of the answer, you might just remember it when you see some of the other daft choices
  7. i went there and had the time of my life...did the countryside management....better than the keepering course...both do 90% of the same modules, but the countryside management one is more broad, which is better in the long run when looking for work looking for work again and it aint no easy task in the countryside
  8. give him a smack with the rabbit....used to take my bitch out where i knew there were rabbits and if she went for them id give her a smack smack on the arse with a stick done the job
  9. Strong type of a bitch, What lines are in her? Voon. cheers Voon....no lines in her, just worker to worker bred
  10. shame that, at leats you had a bit of sport. I always make sure the bottom of the net is lipped inside the hole
  11. My bitch that bolted her forst fox last week and saw her first one in a stop end. Was a twat to enter and started false marking but hopefully last week will set her straight now, she done good last week, better than i had expected to be honest and lifted alot of doubts from my shoulders
  12. good stuff Holland Hopefully when the dog kicks up under your feet, youl feel excited and when you break through youl get goose bumps! If you dont.....then im afriad your insane haha let us know how you do
  13. younguns know now what they are looking for and to be a bit more careful and cautious next time Fair old fox him aint he! Handy looking border that aswell, do yuo have any other photos of the dog??
  14. Have you stripped the coat back? my bitch looked like a wooly gorilla until i stripped her, now she has a good rough coat...100 times better than it was before
  15. wouldnt worry about names in the breeding, anything that has proved its worth will do the job and probably be a bit easier on the wallet
  16. in my opinion i dont think you need any bull in the terrier, especially if its just for rabbiting...like using a mallet to swat a fly
  17. cheers sounder....shes a little dog, no names behind her but that doesnt bother me in the slightest
  18. yeah must have been! bloody maps are over rated mate
  19. im not to sure samba...all i know her grandfather is from some of chapmans stuff which he was using whislt still working for the hunt. Its parents are just worker to work as far as i know
