There are many native species of pig to different countries like the African bush pig to Africa and the European boar "Russian boar as most refer to them here" and so on but none were native to north america. I belive South America has a native pig that lives in the rain forest but not positive on that. I personally thought that the European boar where bigger than the wild boar we have here. They look to be more fierce too lol I would love to see in person good European wild boar but i never have and never will I don't imagine. It

  3. I liked "a bird in the hand" by Bill Doherty myself. It's about birds rather than dogs but as I knew the places he talks about i found it quite ......evocative?? ..,.emotional??? I enjoyed it anyway .sounds like it's worth a read
  4. i like these two Plummer books but there not everyone's cup of tea check out skycat publications theres another Bill Doherty book called the profit hunters on there that's next on my list
  5. the best two books I've read bought them recent and didn't put them down untill i had finished id recommend these two to any one who likes a read and I think both the authors use this forum

I feed my pup as much as it will eat at the minute chicken wings lambs hearts are good cheap food from tesco also liver and kidneys cost next to nothing and cooked in slow cooker makes an ideal mix with dry food I use James well beloved and of course rabbit which any decent hunter should get for free

Ive been using for 2years with no problems Lots of terrier men have been using Ivomec etc etc for years.. but I have heard a few stories about Lurchers with the heavy collie gene in the blood having problems and bad reactions to it. Advocate works for Mange mite/ear mites and all the other nasties including worms..so its a winner for me...Unfortunately the price from my local vets is crippling me with 3 dogs to sort...Anyone can point me to a seller of the stuff at working mans prices...Please please do so. i got prescribed ivermectin for demadex mites which did the job now th

Up at 3:30am as day is just breaking, arrive at destination at 4:00am with the young dog an a ferret and a couple of nets to catch a few rabbits to keep the ferrets and dogs in food for a week or so, I get a good couple of hours before I see anybody at all its peace at its best loads of wildlife about no people just me and the dog, and we caught a few bunnys as well mission accomplished, my missus thinks I'm mad getting up at that time but like I say plenty of time for shut eye when your dead!
