  1. it's wild here in South Yorkshire so I can imagine mate. I'm off there Sunday to meet a farmer for some more permission I think it's give for being same then!!

  3. Went up to a permission in North Yorkshire weekend just gone, me and Rynaldinho had already cancelled two week in a row because of the weather so I decided to brave it this time. Weather was a bit breezy on arrival but not to bad, got to work straight away first set two bolted fairly quickly but the next one wouldn't shit so a four foot dig saw my trusty hob hanging on to a good sized Buck in a stop end. Next set two bolted again by the trusty hob on out of a bolt hole which was not seen, it tried to escape but the dogs were on it in a flash and forced it straight back to the same set set wher

  6. cheers mate Laddy is a 14 month old deer/grey x deer/grey/whippet he's a cracking ferreting dog he marks 100% and when that ferret goes down he is stationary untill he hears or sees something happening then he's on itHe's nice.   8. yeah there down mate apart from bits and bobs as there's big shoots round there so only pheasant cover is left

  10. Couple of hour out at one of my permissions up North Yorkshire, was going bang on untill the weather turned nasty but it was still nice to get out. Only did four sets and the pups did me proud, three would of escaped if the dogs weren't there and the youngest pup my little merle bitch 8 month old is showing great signs of becoming a good dog...Happy Days!
  11. Best off getting from the vet, it's not licensed for dogs its intended for sheep and cattle and I can't count so my vet worked out dosage rates for me.
  12. Yes I got a pup that was infested with demedex mites, I felt sorry for the scabby little thing. Ivermectin sorted it out and advocate kept it away aswel as fleas and worms... He's now 14 months old good looking deerhound x grey/whippet, catches a few rabbits as well.

  19. Yes, my deerhound lurcher started off ferreting and it fetched him on no end plus ferreting is one of my favourite forms of hunting along with Lamping, I shoot also but mainly ferrel pigeons n the such to do the farmers a good deed, helps in gaining more permissions.
  20. She's just shy of 8 month old so thought I'd give her a taste and she loved it
