    might be the batte ry conections try scraping with a small screwdriver and make sure the coller is firmly closed and taped or the connection will fail steve

    if you dont use locaters you are only skimming a few rabbits which is fine if there are plenty of rabbits but if numbers are few then you have to dig or you wont catch many what happens if your ferret is trapped behind a dead rabbit do you leave the ferret to die or escape steve

    i use a plummer and a jack russel both dogs got brains and broke to ferret

    try leaving a ferret box there with some food in it or better still a live rat trap baited with a bit of rabbit

    many thanks but never had much luck with the stop nets the rabbits either run the wrong way or bounce out even with plenty of bagging can you buy short permanent set nets

    i have a ditch to ferret water in the bottom, hedge on both sides cant get to all the holes tried to put a stop net through the hedge any other options steve

    pretty easy you would be better using one ferret for a small warren always use a locater and it doesnt matter if the ferret catches the rabbit steve

    i used to use a spaniel who was brilliant at marking now i use a plummer terrier the more you use a dog the better it becomes i voted both dogs the same

    ] no such thing as a pure black ferret Good job too, seems there's enough folk into ferrets for the £££££ now as it is.. i have seen black ferrets advertised for £50 they are crossed with wild polecats apparently

    mark 3 are the best mark 2 was a bit of a trial effort but should be ok agree with others make sure its tight enough good look

    iv found that to mate dont work with mk3 mark1 boxes pick up mark 3 collers but mark 3 boxes dont pick up mark 1 collers

    what good is a dog which kills ferrets if you cant train the dog you shouldnt be ferretting with the dog

    once had a large fox back a ferret up the hole and they were snapping at each other until i grabbed the ferret by the tail and pulled him out steve
