  1. Have a look at this one, weapon mountable www.youtube.com/watch?v=wavvk_kkLuw
  2. Here is one that's illuminated ! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Laser-Range-Finder-6x-mag-600m-NEW-TYPE-LOW-LIGHT-OLED-with-speed-scan-mode-/231523176694?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
  3. Built to order but I will also be building up a stock for people who don't want a custom job, as there are people who don't like to wait a month for a custom job! It is QD or quick release but that does not effect the zero as it does lock down tight. the windage and elevation adjusters also lock down. The battery cannot be removed apart from when it needs changing after 500+ charge times, i will have to do that for the owner! The battery will last for roughly just over 4.1 hrs, I think that is long enough for a hunting session. Hope that helps Splatty.
  4. No, it's not high price.....less than most, but it's a custom build so varies in price, lowest 499, as for the settings, you don't have to touch them if it's a little complicated, apart from zoom if you need it !
  5. Hi all, To start with I must say sorry for the delay in brining this to show you, it's just that I have built a web site for it too. It's taken me over 6 months to develop this proto-type & I wanted to thank some of you for giving me some ideas to bring you a better NV scope, I hope I have done this, but if not....... sorry, I did try ! The Elcan Digital Night Vision scope "EDNV" for short has the following specifications ( some customisable options ) Internal sony camera 1/3" sensor in colour 960H 0.0002 lux low light gathering 640x480 screen with OSD & crosshair/reticule generato
  6. Sorry been away, It's not me selling them, it's a friend of mine. Not supposed to advertise for people on here so i am not going to.......just do a search for Night vision range finder. Don't pay over £230 for one though as this is going to be the new price ! Splatty
  7. Not sure how that would work as your I phone has an IR filter on the camera, so night vision would be hard to achieve ? Oh and that inteliscope would not be very good while hunting if your phone suddenly rings........aaahhh i missed a fox hehe
  8. Ok video's are here https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B0EBiU9liZ23MnFORVJSTGthWmc&usp=sharing that looks the nuts ... how much tho ?? Its £239. on ebay!
  9. I have found a better link for that Night vision laser rangefinder if any of you want to buy from them direct, I think you will get a better price if you buy in bulk though ! http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Original-LaserWorks-500-m-Multifunctional-Laser-Rangefinder-Night-Visions-DIY-Hunting-Shimmer-Infrared-Ray-Night/32218629562.html Hope this helps Splatty
  10. I was at the show as well and had a chat with him and yes, it did click with me what he was doing....he didn't tell me but i know he is going to use a Crossbow rangefinder, they have a max range of 65 yards, this is a link to a video of what he is likely to do His night vision scope....sorry brick will have another brick ( Leupold rangefinder ) attached to the side of it.......don't get me wrong, it's a good concept but not very practical having a large square attached to your rifle ?
  11. Yes it was me! Oh and a warning to about not paying duty....... "Make sure the seller sends as a sample so no import duty or VAT is incurred", this does not work any more, you still have to pay anything over £15, I know as I get stuff from Asia all the time.....It's worth a try, but don't get upset if you have to pay! Splatty
  12. i always go into a shop, try the scope that i like and then buy it off the net.......I know it's cruel to the shop owner, but it's a cruel world That way you have looked through the glass and know its good for you and your setup!
  13. Ok video's are here https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B0EBiU9liZ23MnFORVJSTGthWmc&usp=sharing
  14. Your quite right, but they can't rangefind, see in the dark or be used as a speed camera
  15. It states that it will range out to 200m at night with the on board IR but I have fully tested it and lets be realistic....... to get a positive ID on the animal, i would say 100m If you fit an IR torch to the screw attachment, the range is limited to torch strength and how steady you can hold the rangefinder plus the max range of the unit is 500m, I wouldn't try ranging rabbits at that range though! Splatty
  16. Hi Guys, I have now fully tested the new night vision rangefinder that I got a few of them from an agent and I am very impressed with it, so here are the video's I made and a review within the same link....enjoy ! Very good price at around £220 https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B0EBiU9liZ23MnFORVJSTGthWmc&usp=sharing Hope this helps splatty oh and this is where you can get them from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Night-Vision-Range-Finder-built-in-compass-inclinometer-speed-camera-amp-more-/231482269349?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT ok, not quite the same price as i sa
  17. The video's im editing are taking longer than expected so i'm going to call it a night and finish editing in the morning, promises, promises ....sorry guys, it will get done tomorrow with all the spec's vid's and a review! I may even start a new thread for this review of the night vision RF unit. Splatty.
  18. Nope, these have been imported by another in the UK. i also know the manufacturer of these units and toying with the idea of buying a load in I know, i'm the one who gave the agent the idea, that,s why I got a special deal on ordering a few of them!
  19. No, i had a chat with the guy from pitch black at the show and he is just using a cross bow range finder attached to the already large brick that will sit on your rifle......I know this cos he gave to much info away! He also stated he is having problems with ranging past 65 yards........funny that, the crossbow rangefinder has the same problem as it only has an affective range of 65 yards. Splatty
  20. I have been toying with the idea to get a night vision rangefinder for a long time as it's quite difficult to range rabbits at night over long distances. I have only come up with military spec ones that set you back £3,000.00......not within my budget! Until now. I have found one eventually and the manufacturer has told me that they only started making them NOV last year, so I ordered a few samples as a couple of friends are interested and may have them off me, they were posted to me yesterday, I will be taking some photo's and a video and put it on here for you all to see. I mus
  21. I have just had a play with one at the shooting show.........to be honest i was quite disappointed, when you move the unit to fast ( which isn't that fast ) you get a ghosting affect on the screen, not sure what camera they use but ive seen cheaper digital NV's do a lot better !
  22. No, it's still as good the 4th time ive been.......had a great time, nothing like a bit of GUN PORN ! Splatty
  23. HAHA, Im going tomorrow, can't wait.....I have a lot of gear I want to look at, Ive also been told a new night vision scope is going to be on show and it looks like a brick sitting on your rifle....that should be interesting! Splatty.
  24. Yep, I will second that on the old 22LR........Ive taken a lot bigger with the right placement, but not in this country. It's not legal !
  25. Hi guys, I have been making these NV scopes ( CS DarkLight ) for quite a lot of people and I thought that now I'm moving on to another project ( night vision MK2 ) that i would share my build instructions with all of you. These scopes are better than the photon and unlike some of the other DIY builders you can still use the turrets to keep the cross hair in the middle of the screen, rather than move the cross hair to the target. If you follow the link below you will be able to see all my build instructions, schematics, pictures and vid's, please don't ask me too many Q's or to build one for
