My dogs on raw meats and bones only, about 1lb a day and he's doing fine. I don't use any mixers or dry foods etc

That's what age he's at now just over 6 months, the hiding behind something is a good technique, I've used it a couple of times when he's being an ignorant git! Ha

Pups recall coming along nicely, still has the odd time where he's decides he's deaf. But he's doing good enough for me.

Any other methods other than shock collars?

Had my pup around livestock as much as possible and he was doing good, had him off lead and been good. But now he's started going after them! Anybody else had this problem? And what did you do to stamp it out?

My pup used to do the same just stood there looking at me and ran further away if I went close, best solution I found was to walk the other way or hide from him and call him.

Just over 5 months mate.

Out with the pup yesterday, recall coming good. Showed a lot of interest in some squirrels but still to see a bunny!

I'm in same boat as you pal, trying to learn as much as I can off here to try and bring my pup along. Hopefully will be ok.

Sire whippet x grey and dam whippet x collie Looks a nice solid little thing how's it coming on work wise is he showing all the right signs bud really do like the fact that he's small racey an he's not built like a skeleton like some small lurches Cheers pal, Been working on his recall and retrieving, he's getting there, but still only young.
