  1. That depends. If, as above, the zero is at the pellet flight highest point then there will be only the one zero. If you're zero is as the pellet is dropping again then there will be a primary zero but this will be different in every case.
  2. I agree, I think it's because the title is spare s200. I understand what's happening now but not off the first couple of posts.
  3. Just my two pennies worth from another new member on this forum. I joined as I found the help and advice on hear to be relevant and it seemed like people had a bit of a sense of humour which I like. What I don't understand though, is if this isn't for you then why stay? Why post? I used to be an admin on a forum (not air rifle related) and it started to get that I wasn't enjoying the forum anymore so I left. No-one makes you join a forum and no-one can make you stay. If someone says something that you don't like (remember, that things written can be misconstrued at times) then
  4. Don't forget you'll need another £150 approx for a stirrup pump or bottle. As for which rifle, go and handle different ones at your local RFD and get a feel for them. The more "right" it feels when shouldering it the better you will shoot and the more you will enjoy it. The ultra is a good rifle and is nice and compact, try and go for the SE multishot if you go this route. The Hatsan is heavier but still a good rifle, check the serial number as the first 4 numbers are the month and year of manufacture. The early ones had a few issues. Walther have recently introduced the Rotex R8 in .1
  5. Getting excited about the move now. Went for a final viewing at the house last week and took measurements etc. I opened a French bank account whilst there and went and saw the insurance man to get my prices for the all important health insurance. Hoping to make the move in the next few months and can't wait to get over there permanently. It's actually only two hours from St Malo so not as far from CH as I first thought it was.
  6. Yes, I use a tripod style rest. Mainly due to a problem with my left arm but great when holding on target when waiting for mr rabbit to give a clear view of the side of his head. No good when I'm out lamping though as always scanning but great for daylight use.
  7. What do you want to use it for? If sub 12ft lb I wouldn't touch .25 for anything other than close quarter ratting and similar. Not much pellet choice either. If FAC then it's a different story.
  8. Going after the American market as they love their bullpups.
  9. I can't see this mentioned anywhere else on here yet. Here is the new Daystate PCP that has been launched today. http://www.airgunmagazine.co.uk/news/daystate-launches-mk-5-but-it-aint-called-that/ They are stopping production of the mk4 and replacing it with this. At £2000 I'll be giving it a miss.
  10. Top job and nice to see a old HW80 bought back to life.
  11. I've been thinking about one of these as a nice lightweight scope. The cheapest I've found new is here if any good to you. £54.99 http://www.airgunspares.com/store/product/3172/Hawke-Sport-HD-2-7x32-AO-IR/
  12. The trouble is now though is that you will want one of your own once you realise just how good it is. Lol. Good of him to lend it to you.
  13. Brilliant, thanks very much for clarifying everything. We are buying the house in between Poullaouen and Carhaix-Plouguer. It's quite a drive from where you are, about 4hrs from St Malo.
  14. Yes, did mine as well and they never came loose or moved. I just tried to make the hole as small as possible to make sure the screw had a good grip.
  15. Hi Coypu Hunter, Thank you for posting this information which I found during a google search. I think I understand the information you have provided but just want to make sure that I've not missed anything. We are looking to move to Brittany from the UK in the next few months. I currently only hunt using a sub 12ft lb PCP, rabbits and wood pigeons mainly as I feed my dogs on a raw diet and it helps with the bills! I'm pleased with the change in French law as it means I can at least keep my air rifle and still use it for targets etc The house we are buying belongs to the local f
