It's how I got over being scared of bumblebees ...my mate one day cupped his hands around a bumblebee on a flower and took it of the flower so it was buzzing about in his cupped hand he then got me to do it and once I did the fear was gone ... Maybe I should have said 'uncommon' phobiasI have a friend who lives in Queensland, she's more afraid of the ants than the spiders...she often comes across a redback in her garden but doesn't let them bother her. I couldn't live over that's for sure. I was fine with spiders as a child...my fear of them has only really developed over the last 10 or so years
