    I'm a fan of the plummers , beeen looking into getting a pair of working bred pups diggings not something I do often but something I think most terriers should be able to do . My uncle had your garden variety jack russels a few years ago and they were expected to work fox rat and bush rabbits for his lurchers .

    Identical to the vw caddy just different badges . Needs a little welding been grinding it out today , prone on the rear arches and shocks . Should make a good tool

    Evening all Just bought a mk 2 skoda pickup as a ferreting cum dog mobile , cheap on diesel and plenty of space on back for boxes bags etc . Didn't really want a four wheel drive as I only go down farm roads and don't drive on or across any fields to get to my permission and for fifty quid absolute bargain Anybody else got/use one ? Am needing a tailgate if anyones got one kicking about as well

    Congratulations on your happy news . Just my thoughts my aunt moved abroad to Australia and being a similar age to my cousin missed them loads as brought up together , she visited last year and I was planning on going out there for 3 months , just met the current missus so decided to put it on the back burner , can't afford it now and even though im happy as the proverbial pig still refer it .

    My two pence , my current dogs a collie x grey x whippet . The dam was a 1st x collie grey damn good kampong and ferreting nitch in her day , she was lined by a supposedly Laguna whippet . In my opinion the whippet added much needed speed and turn of pace and hthat sharpness to make quick snap pickups . I highly rate the cross as the collie added a nice coat and good feet , dunno about brains really I just need a general mooching companion and dog to run off the slip somaybe the collie influence is wasted on me . My digs very much the try or die type .

    Looks a cracking day mate , hoping to have the day Sunday and try my dog . Have secured some permission on a orchard with some lovely open sets , doubt I'll get those numbers but will hopefully get to see the dog work .
