yes mate zack he was another good dog i had,bring back some good memories the old pics. that is a nice looking dog mate he was 3/4 grey 1/4 bull mate a good dog,i only let him go as my head was'nt in the game as my wife died

was 26 tts and weighed 62/63lb give or take a little,he was very racy and quick for a first x bull grey.

my old dog remus,most have seen him before,no longer wid us.

if i,m on the right tex mate the dog did have minshaw in him .pm me if you want and i,ll give you info . i owned the tex dog and it left me to go to wigan,did'nt have a lot of minshaw in it here's a couple of pics of it when it was wid the young lass who owned it before me,brindle dog only stood about 23tts.

well them thinking dogs would'nt catch many where i used to run,the fields were'nt big enough they had to catch em at the first oppertunity,look at them collies on them hills in wales(on the dvd),great dogs at what they do but how many foxes as that fella missed wid foxes getting to ground cause the dogs are hanging and waiting to get there hold i wonder!!(just an example)if your running big land i suppose you can have a different type of dog,horses for courses as they say

i'm on about young dogs on there own.

thats another point when people talk about dogs getting bit,young dogs had to learn how to kill,younger dogs just starting out would of got bit more than and older more experienced dog.

there's also a difference between fox dogs and dogs that catch the odd fox,i think thats where people go wrong thinking they have a fox dog,you only know what ya have when there doing it regular and doing it on there own,i've seen dogs scared to death but they aint single handed dogs, fine paired up but wont do it on there own.

the first thing a fox does when a dog catches it is turn round and grab the dog!now a dog that tries to get its hold so it dont get bit in my eyes is hanging, waiting,them dogs in my eyes aint fox dogs and dont catch regularly well the would'nt where i used to run them anyway,when it was legal i wanted a dog that caught the fox at the first oppertunity it had grabbing it anywhere and then dealing with it,the dogs that done that REGULAR got bit.

as long as they please the lads thats running them surely thats all that matters,what evers in them,well done lads for trying to keep em as close to the originals as you can i say ,and whin the post is about BULPA and minshaw bred types not about you and your type,so give up will ya or is it you dont like it cause there's another thread thats getting more interest than any of yours ever do?? cheers hbg

yes i've used a 50 watt for years as you say tomo wid a a 14amp dry sell pack and it never let me down,i now have a 14 amp lithium pack and last week my brother was on the back of the van from 11pm to 3-30 am and only one light was used on the battery,agian this was with a 50watt bulb.
