    a friend of mine sold a pastel drawing in a shop that he had entered in a competition,anyway he's got through to the final of the bbc wildlife comp with it but does'nt have the details of the person who bought it,below is the drawing and what he wrote on facebook earlier.i know it a long shot but you've got to try,if anyone's seen it could ya pm me please,cheers hbg.     the camera is fine with my other lens on,its the AF setting on the 18-55 lens thats the problem.

    i've had a mess about with it this morning before i ring anyone,its seems to be something to do with the lense,when i've got the 18-55mm on in AF mode it wont take pics but in MF its fine,the 90-300mm is fine in both modes,so its not as bad as first thought. cheers hbg

    my canon 1000d just stopped taking pics last night,anyone had the same problem,any idea's?anyone know any where to get them repaired? thanks in advance for your help ps everything else seems ok apart from it just wont click to take a picture.

    its just the lenses you need swap not the full lamps

    i aint had any serious problems but certain police officers were giving me grief while out lamping at scotland, ian clarke from sacs sorted it for me straight away.

    i think the lad took a pic of his dog jumping a fence it probably jumps regulary i dont think he just did it for the photo,its the same as any part of working dogs people have different standards as to what they expect of there dogs,some people on here potter about just walking them some graft them and need em to jump.

    most fences are like that round by me,my dog will either jump both like that dog or will drop in between them but the bushes on that pic wont allow the dog to do that,be f****d if i'm lifting my dog over everything,good pic mate i like to see a dog that can jump well,a dog that cant/wont jump is'nt worth a toss in my eyes.

    the new ones come wid a right angled one,there better and easy to tape in,you can buy the new ones from deben or ya local gun shop i would think

    got a 14 amp lithium and run a blitz off it with a 50 watt bulb in its never let me down,i'll never go back to the old type now yes i agree there not cheap but once you get one you'll love it

    yes they said 35minutes, the way they started there was no way they would of still been going 35minutes later pal..dont believe everything you see on tv lol yes probs 5 mins said 35 for the camera

    they might slip into a hole though,i think there fantastic dogs at what they do and am not knocking them at all but i wonder how many he's missed with them slipping into a hole when maybe a more committed dog would of caught them?as i say a great film to watch and i enjoyed watching the pup from starting out to being the finished article on the last dvd,he would be a good lad to follow if ya were into ya terriers i would think

    tried the blitz one in a field next to the normal blitz,the only difference was the colour of the beam,deffo whiter but for the extra cash i dont think you get anything more from it.

    you get longer out of ya batteries, it dont make any difference to the beam,try it mate you'll be surprised,i have a 14 amp lithium now running a blitz wid a 50 in,my brother lamped off the back of the van one night on his own(both sides of the road)so the light was on pretty much all of the time,we were out about 4/5 hours cant remember exactly and the battery had only used two of the five indicator lights, if yorkshirelad2 can afford it i would go for the lithium.
