  1. The best dry food on the market is Hills Science Plan. Quite a bit more expensive but worth every penny. My 7 year old lab bitch is fed on 24% protein during the game season and the "light" Hills diet during the spring/summer months. She looks and acts like a 3 year old and temperament, condition and general health is excellent. Stamina is also excellent and she will work all day long. Of course we all have our favourite brands and it is not easy to make the change, but I wouldn't use any other brand and certainly not tinned dog meat. I do accept that a lot of owners prefer raw and tho

    Knife Crime.

Bang on mate, i only know one lad that can have a fight and has cut someone badly too, you do not need to be a hard man with a 8" kitchen knife in your hand its a great equaliser.

    Knife Crime.

I agree with what you are saying Gnasher but i know a lot of "hard men" and a few " psychos" that are willing to use blades or guns for whatever reason, the hard men are terrified of the skinny twat with a blade that will use it there and then or come back when you least expect it. Theres a lot of difference between carrying a knife and using it to maim or kill someone for little or no reason when you are stone cold sober.
  4. Surface lures for pike snagproof Frogzilla and Mouldys hawg wobbler (really!). Perch can be caught on small spinners or shads easily enough.

    dirty bitch

zap love the profile picture Take out all the bedding and try her in a bare kennel, i had a bitch that did the same and it worked, as long as the kennel is windproof and wateproof she will be ok.
  7. Lot of info on the subject here http://www.bernardomahoney.com/rrmurders/main.shtml including grisly crime scene photos of the 3 dead men.
  8. I have a Ultra too, it skips pellets regularly using Accupells, much better using AA field in mine. on the BSA forum there is a step by step guide to stripping and lubing the mags that might help as well. regards
  9. Any sensible offers for a full set of Mario Messinas old magazine, i think there are 24 in total, all good condition and original. regards
  10. I owned a .177 that was the most accurate, smooth springer i have ever shot, including Weihrauchs. the downside is they are very heavy and a pain in the arse for loading, great guns but not suited to hunting imo.
  11. Its pretty common and nothing to worry about, my dog has had it. Its a form of "wet" eczema i think, plenty of information on the web, have a look. i used NuStock to clear it up.
  12. BSA Lightning XL, small, light powerful.

Its generally accepted that quarry no bigger than rabbits and crows are shot with a air rifle, FAC or not. Anything bigger use a rifle.

    original 50

Full size underlever rifle, nice looking had one as a kid as already stated not a powerhouse, around 10ftlbs at most. very nice guns but outdated now imo.
  16. Some parts are covered by the VCR bill, have a look here http://www.gunspares.co.uk/ its about the best place for spare parts.
  17. Danny, they are about the easiest guns around to work on, you should have just bought a original HW spring and changed it yourself, even i can do it! Chances are if its running hot someone has put a Ox spring or similar in it. Really good guns, built like BMs.

    HW80

No Longer For Sale Just had a few shots in the garden and its staying here, forgot how much i like it!!
  19. Decided to sell my old HW80 as its not getting used now. Still running at 11ftlb and accurate enough to do the job, killed loads of vermin with it. needs a reblue if you care about looks and the stock has been repainted black. £85 no offers and needs picked up (Tyneside) as i will keep it rather than arse around posting. cheers
  20. Correct, thats about the top whack for a HW80. They were designed to run around that level and shoot nicer than the sub 12ftlbs guns.
  21. Heres a photo of my TX .177 walnut, cracking gun!
  22. Nice little guns, still gay though! I would put a photo up of the TX if i knew how
  23. BSA Ultra or a falcon raptor lighthunter 12, both smaller than the AA200 and better looking, buy second hand and sell on if it does not suit or he loses interest.
