his last house was in wrangle so probably round there,or somewhere round the wolds,it will be my dad whos buying the place and il be moving down with them,it all depends on if he can sell his place,it wnt be for a while but hopefully 1 day it will happen,its a nicer pace off life down there.used to love it as a kid.just wasnt sure what the digging was like down there.cheers. you,ll need a saluki cross for that area ..used to wildfowl it years ago..[and driven pheasants under the moon]

The 18-200 is a decent "all rounder" especially for wildlife. I went for the Sigma lens to take out on hunting days ( less expensive than the canon version ) also on the canon 40d you do not really want to be changing lenses all the time as dirt on the sensor is a tw@t. It has a sensor cleaning cycle on start up and close down. If your using the 40d in the field I would also carry some eclipse fluid and swabs. Good choice overall and I am sure you will see some great results. The camera is quite easy to use. If you can invest in a battery grip or spare batteries. Thanks
