    a mate of mine who,s a keeper in norfolk came over a few weeks back. and the talk turned to deer [plenty on his estate] he was telling me the reds on there are as big/bigger at a year old, than scottish ones. now i have no need to dispute this [what do i no] but like he says the food situation is better in norfolk than scotland. what do you lads think on this... thanks byron...

    Thank you , its very addictive & best of all it costs nowt but time once you have a camera yes it's to be honest i only have a sh*t camera , but my sister was home here for afew days with hers and i headed off with it i have a few pic up on here i realy enjoyed it i have to say i have being looking for one on e-bay since so maybe soon i get the right picture soon,atb sounder I would love a better camera , the one i am using is just a point & shoot job its good for close up stuff but things at distence its not much cop yes kay..mr darcy uses the same model.. egg sarn

    tree sparrows building.. checked a few boxes near me other day.. found two robins as well.

    had a small colony of house sparrows in my nieces garden..in a good tallish thick privet..

    Dont think it will be a house sparrow, they only nest in holes, boxes under eaves etc.......whats a pinkie ? you got me there forty plus years ago house sparrows locally used to nest in hawthorn [overspill maybe ]now including the starling is a red listed bird..sad but true. how times change eh..... Good man OTC love a bit of nesting Found a few some chaffys a grate and blue tit in various boxes. What i did find intresting was some House sparrows nesting in the tops of some blackthorns near the house.Nest is similar to that of a pinkie but not quite the same craftmanship

    wonder what caused that then? I had a similar thing happen years back after shooting rabbits, spent a while in a hedgerow and thought I must have come into contact with the sap off summat. Took ages to heal and a couple left scars on my forearm. Hemlock.... = the smell of meecies..
