    The grief felt by 96 families would I'd say amount to more than a moan. Am not sure this is the best place to discuss the events of that day, it will go so very easily and badly wrong when people start misunderstanding other lads and start banging out hastily written replies, the internet is a fantastic resource for lots of things, but am not sure about it being used to analyse the cause of 96 deaths. I'd hope any replies on this thread are carefully read and re read before being posted ...............

    Johnny V, not sure what has gone wrong here on this thread but wrong ends have been grabbed by the looks of things, have met RFYL, and have to say he's a decent normal hunting fella, am sure there's no need for any fisticuffs to sort a misunderstanding out. Then again I'm sure there are those who've met me who'll think I'm an arse so I guess everything is objective! All the best

    You're not wrong there! Coming out the Midland last year I was stuck behind a right muppet who had to take 3 goes to take a little left turn, you could see he was on full lock each time but it just wasn't enough.

    I haven't exactly tested mine off road ........ But, what I will say is that the Discovery is dead easy to work on, like a big Meccano set, 99% of parts are available second hand, and are dead cheap, new parts such as service items are available very cheap, full filter kit is around £15 off ebay. There are loads of lads out there who are happy to give good free advice and help, mine is a TD5 and I've done loads of work on it to get it looking and driving like a much newer model, I haven't found a anything yet that someone else hasn't done to them and is willing to give advice on.
