    Do "Police" dogs live with their handler or in a kennel at the dog section? I'm almost 100% the Cheshire ones have a permanent kennel on Police premises. Why would they be with an off duty officer in a civvy car in the first place?

    "The dogs were found dead in a police car parked outside Nottinghamshire's force headquarters in Arnold at 2.15pm yesterday. The Independent Police Complaints Commission said it received a referral from the force and is deciding whether to investigate. The RSPCA said it was investigating the incident.     Two police dogs have died in a hot car parked outside the headquarters of Nottinghamshire Police. An RSPCA officer was called to the Sherwood Lodge headquarters in Arnold on Tuesday and found two German Shepherd dogs dead in a police vehicle.     those type of lamps are used by security guards sometimes also..........could have been a lamp from anyone! then again have they found rabbit blood or such on the lamp???? Exactly my point, the ARV Volvos in Cheshire have NF Lance lamps on board as standard kit, I see they don't get the blame! Not trying to make light (no pun intended) of that poor blokes injuries in any way, but really think it's wrong to assume it was someone who hunts because there was a lamp left there.     A terrible terrible thing to happen, but I think you're being a bit hasty suggesting it was someone from within the hunting "community" that knows who did this. Has anyone in that area been burgled themselves recently and had a lamp stolen? I'm not trying to be funny, but if I dropped a divers torch when I was out committing crime does that mean it was a diver who did it. I hope they catch the scum who did that, the photos are horrific. Was there a photo of the lamp anywhere? I missed it if there was.

    Any washing machine engineers on here? Got a Servis machine, about 2 years old, all stainless steel model, cost about 400, but sounds like the bearings are going ................ Are they worth replacing or was that an expensive lesson not to buy a machine with a pretty casing?! Is it a big job?
