    Really enjoyed this show last year, was proper working dogs and lads, none of the poncey show brigade you see elsewhere But ........... when is it on? Would be a shame to miss it. Can anyone help?

    Yep but isnt a C cell torch rather heavy? if not has anyone got a link? It would be with like Duracell batteries in, but with something like lithium rechargeables then you have less than half the weight.

    The best bit about this show ............ It will keep the gob shites in one place away from the decent lads who will be able to avoid this show and go to established shows that don't have to bribe entries with fancy prizes.     No and it wont keep her company when her husband is away either.......the original post does say the couple are well off....so i shouldn't imagine the cost of this would be prohibitive either.......but do they already have something like this? CCTV is all well and good but the suspects have got to be know to the police viewing it and the CCTV has to be really good quality to recognise them, unless they are caught in teh act and the description again in the original post indicates that access is gained by teh suspects by a footpath near the house that leads to teh town and the house in question

    In my experience ............ CPO's are generally the fattest most stupid and useless of all the available Constables, hence why they get sent to drive around drinking tea frightening old ladies. You make the above statement seemingly assuming I have no experience of the Security Industry, are you suggesting that any of the involved parties would have received the best, most practical advice from the CPO?     Why not? It's called culling. I couldn't do it, but then I know that I couldn't and accept culling to be part and parcel of breeding, therefore I never have and am unlikely to ever breed a litter. I'd be better rested knowing that they had a short life than a long one being mistreated or passed around.

    Hate it! People should get out and work for a living instead of exploiting mediocre animals to raise a bit of extra cash. Seems to be the new way ............ Need a new car/fridge/holiday/conservatory? Get them dogs bred, some mug will give you a few hundred quid per pup. The above is not aimed at anyone in particular.

    Honest answer? None. A good alarm system, good security practise (lock up every time you leave, always set the alarm etc) plenty of notices up (CCTV, silent alarm, floodlights) will create the better deterrent effect IMHO. You'll never after all create an inpeneterable fortress, but what you can do is make the thieving scum someone elses problem, why would they bother and take the risks breaking into your yard when there's a much easier one down the road? A good alarm system will not need feeding, you'll be equally protected when on holiday, and best of all, if anything does
