    I give 500 for service last year and would do it in a heart beat again, if you get two running dogs out of it that's 250 each, where you go about getting decent running dogs for that money, can understand people's points about one pups price but a service of a real good dog for 500 is money well spent in my eyes

    As they say bad news spreads quicker than good news does, once one farmer has hassle with dogs running through cattle etc then it get past on next thing u have lost two or three farms and wasn't even you on the ground, nearly happened to me couple times last season, was lucky enough to keep the ground but each to their own just not for me either

    Hounddog totally agree, too many people out too early and ruin it for everyone, cattle getting put into ditches and breaking fences, that's a mans livelyhood at end off day, end Oct be plenty of time, cattle in, fences off and young dogs can get plenty of experience without worrying there going to get fried
