My young bitch, 20 months.

I will be happy with around 100 but 10 will do fine.. ...and the dog's recall is instant everytime if that's what you mean.. Well done. I was actually having a playful dig at Ideation but I'm glad your dogs come back. You should clean up tonight..............

Hahahahaha!! You may look smart to the fools but not to most! Good attempt at a bit of banter though. I like you when you do that. Anyway, back to the thread, last night of lamping, how many would you like? 1 out of 10, 3 out of 10 or more?? I'm referring to the amount of times your dog actually recalls!!!!

You are a bit of an instant expert and when challenged you refuse to answer. No disrespect, just an observation.

So we're all agreed? My way is best. Fantastic, I knew you'd see sense in the end

Anyone that passes negative comments about other peoples dogs is either insecure about themselves or their own dog. It doesn't getuch more complicated than that. The occasional peddler who's trying to big up his breed and rubbish others is the other potential source if those sort of comments. I don't judge anyone's dog. I make more excuses for other people's dogs than they do. If I like a dog then they can stay in the warm as an old pot licker if they don't make the grade. I don't have a high turn over of animals and have been lucky enough to always have a dog around that gives me a bit o

The standard of dogs from the 70's and 80's was a lot higher than it is today. As a general rule. There are top class dogs about today as god as the old dogs but there was more selective breeding then and far less peddlers.

I can Whatsapp you a photo that Chris sent me.

Neither do i when i know the long range weatherman could well be wrong.. I can't believe you've actually put into words that you need to see a dog work for a whole season to know it's shite. Some of you veterans treat us young lads like the dog game is rocket science and we shouldn't even be slipping a dog until we've spent 10 seasons watching and learning. Let alone have an opinion on a dog. Ignore me and everyone one and learn the hard way like most folk did well beforee the internet appeared .. crack on mate and all the best for the new season,. He aint going to learn much from yo

They're beanbag guns. Don't believe The Huffington Post.

Bean bag guns!

Shorten your range to 10 yards and get stalking. Forget about 25 yards until you're spot on at 20 and forget 20 until you're spot on at 15. To be honest the majority of shots taken will be around the 10 yard mark. Practice at that range first and you can push things further as you go. With regards to the Saluki, you're on your own!!! You should've asked me before you bought it!!! Lol!!

I'm sorry mate. This is a genuine apology. You didn't send PM's to people. I got that wrong. I only went on what I'd been told and that was incorrect. I should've checked my information before publicly accusing you. So sorry once again.
-
And you know loads about me do you? PMing people saying that I stack shelves in Tescos and don't have a dog. That's a snidey thing to do. So I know that you're a snide. And it is nowhere near the truth so I know that you're a liar. So in actual fact I know plenty about you. Lol!! Do you want to deny it and then those that you PM'd can call you a liar too. I don't go bitching about via PM, I call people out to their face. You're a liar because you lied about me and you're a snide because you did it behind my back. Those are facts and you can't argue with science.
-
Hey!!!!! The liars back!!!
-
People in glass houses and all that!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!! You've got some neck, ain't you?? You've also got a short memory. It wasn't that long ago that you was on here repeating stuff that you'd heard about someone that was complete nonsense and here you are all upset and whinging because it's been done to you!!

Brookie, you've been threatening to put a video up of your shooting skills for years! Hahahaha!!! I reckon I could take the catty that YCHB is going to buy, shoot it for a week and then we could go out for a mooch and I'd put more game in the bag than you. Catty's are easily accessibly for everyone. If someone buys a Barnett Blackwidow or makes an antler fork with shell case caps, I don't care, they can ce our with me and I'll try and help them get the best out of it. If it wasn't for blackwidows I'd never have started shooting catapults. We should just be thankful that people are sho -
The water has always been warm enough for them to feed around our coast. The sea temperature here is the same as South Africa's and they feed well enough around there.

Ridgeback Greyhound X Bull Whippet Greyhound
Ocset replied to jossa's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I agree my working pugadoodledoo is the bomb on Red stags As for Ridgebacks heavy culling would be needed to get the right type consistently imo I agree, although mine would've been culled due to his excessive size. Some of the fat barrel bodied stuff with the tiny snipey heads shouldn't be bred from. But there are decent proportioned dogs with the right temperament that could be used. -

My main point is, these show dogs will work and work well. -
Ridgeback Greyhound X Bull Whippet Greyhound

That dog is now dead. He was never a running dog. He was always heavyset, but he could move along at a decent pace and keep up with what he needed to. You'd never call him racey, he was always square but he lost all of that puppy fat he has In those photos. Those are the only two photos I have of him that I can share. -

don't know when the dog did them things,? but looking at this pic it don look fit+fast enough to do the above .? Who mentioned speed? The dog wasn't fast, that wasn't his job, he wasn't a tunning dog. People were questioning the use os Ridgeback blood. Most of those people haven't got the first clue about the breed and it's working ability. Your previous comments demonstrate a lack of real experience. I'd of though someone that runs a GSD x would have a better idea of what different breeds can do. How many Ridgebacks or Ridgeback blooded lurchers have you worked? You seem sure about
