ALL proceeds to PIPS Upper Bann which was started in 2007 by people who had been affected by suicide. PIPS aim to save lives, create awareness and understanding of suicide and self-harm.   3. The 3rd Mid-Ulster Whippet Derby final was ran today at the Brandywell Race Track with Susan McCann's Bella winning in a new Brandywell Whippet Track Record of 20.58 secs!!! Congratulations to Susan and Bella on winning and to all the competitors for a fine race. Sincere thanks to the Brandywell Dog Track for accommodating the race, their hospitality and sponsorship of the presentation jacket. We had a great family day out at this show.weather came really good,after a big down pour earlier on.It was very obivous from early on a lot of effort and planning went into this with the team of helpers on hand.the standard of dogs on the day was very high,giving all the judges a headache. great to see a bull terrier winning best of day tidy dog and in great condition, there was a great bit of banter around the strong dog ring the way it was in days of old great to see strong dogs getting popular again. looking forward to next year already well done to all the winners on day. last note its

Venue and date to be confirmed. entries from all over british isles considered. competition depends on the stake being filled. entry fee £10 per dog. All there had a good time some very fast pups and dogs on show the international whippet derby entrants in the spring will have to be on top form. No more race days everyone can get back to hunting just now as the weather has started to turn colder see you all soon, good hunting. p.s. drumbo should put you on a retainer fee. lol.
