    I fed my sealaym pup more or less the same as me lurchers beata greyhound meal it says its good for growing pup's on the bag with mince trip rabbit hare deer meaty bones eggs veg meat and bone meal left over dinners and he's grew in to a nice fine strong dog

    I had my bitch retrieving rabbits over fencers and gates at 6 1/2 months old her litter brothers were doing the same it has made her a very good dog starting her early thats wy I bred off her this summer but I don't think her pups will be ready that early you are right every dogs different

    I work 50 hours a week Monday to Friday that's when I do me lamping through the week it does do you in but you just have to get on with it which leaves the weekends for the terrier work our lass has her own business so she's aways sort her books out ect so no chow for me lifes a goodun

    Lol we normally carry ruck sacks and when they are getting a bit to much drop them at a road side to pick up when we are done but that lands a couple hours from the house so we like to try and bag up when we go there because it is a 4 hour round trip it kills you when you have to be up early for work

    It was the same for me headed out for some land were we've it the 40 mark a couple of times and got disappointed still got over a dozen but the distance we travelled we hoped for more I find its always around xmas time when the number of the catch decreases I think you are doing well to hit double figure when it get to January

    I agree with you there I try and get a little old couple for my retired dogs to spend the rest of there days and they worship them you don't just kill a dog because it's retired people like that need a good f***ing kicking in my eyes

    Alright mate I have just started that book what did you think about it??I haven't read much of it because I've skipped to the dog training bit to see if there was any thing new to go in to the training of my pup but unfortunately it was just what I have picked up off other people over the years so it wasn't much help so going to start it from the beginning to see what it's like

    Some boy you aren't ya av never lamped leyburn before we get good sport every time we are down that area but always take 2 dogs its not a number thing for us if we get some good runs and a good bag in a hour or 2 we'll call it a night but if I was making the 4 half hour drive ad probably make the most of it an stop out all night
