    £3 is a very good price, the skins are worth more than the actual meat if they're prepped. Technically nowadays I think if you sell any meat to butchers or restaurants you should be registered, is all to do with the traceability of the product.

    I've bought some PTFE sheet in 0.25mm and 0.50mm with the aim of making a piston liner sleeve for my HW97K, seeing what Marksman and Skot have achieved, has inspired me to give it a go and strip my rifle down and give it a polish up etc. I'm very green to this and was wondering how best to make and fit the liner. Has anyone got any photos of doing this?

    Thanks for putting the videos up Darryl really enjoyed watching them. Was that your stage 1 tune?? It's really inspired me to have a go, in fact I've ordered a few bits and bobs to give it a try. I was going to get it professionally tuned at some stage but after seeing what you've achieved, is it really all necessary, as you've shown everyone what's achievable without the use of a specialist tools etc. Air rifles are pretty basic tools, surely there is only so much people can do to them to improve there performance? Two feet per second spread speaks for itself. Thanks again.

    Thanks everyone for the advice, I've taken the plunge today and I've placed an order for a HW97k in .177.

    I know the Philippine versions are highly regarded compared to the Chinese made ones but apart from the scope having made in the Philippines printed on the side are there any other ways you can tell them apart? Just there seems to be quite a few new ones still for sale with the Philippines stamped on them and was just wondering if they're the genuine article?

    Initially I was thinking about going pcp and getting a Air Arms S410 but when I totted up all what I would need and the cost etc I had a change of heart and am thinking of now going for a good springer instead.     I have complete sympathy for the position your in. I was having similar problems with my GSP bitch a couple of months ago, I’d taken her to puppy classes etc, but you’d take her out and she just wanted to please herself, tried all the traditional methods like long check cord all to no avail. I spent a fair amount of time training before I even let her off loose in an enclosed field, thinking that come the time she’s let off and with all the training I’ve done she’ll be obedient, well it didn’t work for me… Plus the fact if they're on the lead they’re not getting rid of the
