  1. Cheers for the heads up boys, sound and sensible advice, Going to have a go... I think it will be useful to be able to knock one up/repair if ever needed, and have the confidence in it being safe. I will be well aware of the heat risk and I will opt for armoured in the long term, wouldnt want to spend top dolla on a store bought one now, wheres I could pick the wire up on the fly, if its as safe and simple as it looks and sounds, Best wishes
  2. Evening boys and girls, hope you enjoyed New Years Eve. Was thinking of having a go at making my own extension cable for use in the garage, Its a dangerous when I start to get ideas but I like cracking my own, I can get hold of some cheep 1.25mm 3 core flex cable, I read that this would be good for upto 15 meters? If this is true I am thinking http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-GANG-RUBBERISED-TRAILING-SOCKET-AND-ORANGE-13A-PLUG-EXTENSION-LEAD-/281436779278?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item4186f0730e now I can wire a plug socket but I am not so sure about wiring the 2 gang socket
  3. Happy new year boys, been awhile since I have been on but I just suppose thats the perks of my job I put an order in with Dakota Line Snares over in the states, had no problems what so ever and to be fair the shipping wasn't bad at all, can have a look through my paypal and let you know what I ordered and the breakdown of the total cost if you want? I remember I put up a thread, search 'Venum snares' and sure it will come up. But yeah, long story short was cheaper buying from the states for snare parts, its when you start looking at traps (weight...) you will start to get stung.

  10. As stated before trailcam, which isnt the cheapest option but in my opinion the better bet. Once you have a trailcam and look after it, its an investment and will help solve more mysterys in the future and help with reccie/confirmation on your next line. I dont know how experienced you are so maybe snaring a fox isnt such a good idea :/ We all have to start somewhere but it is a big deal compared to a few rabbit Could use different wires as in opt for a steel or you could turn up the ground so its loose in channeled areas near by, so you can check if you get any tracks (paws or tra

Well if I had, I would of never of been looking for pink landrovers that's for sure That's it bud, four euro is a drop in the ocean for the amount of jobs you could do and am well into the same mind set of actually enjoying doing a good job, maybe am an easily pleased man, it's no skin off my nose and if it's getting results, well... Haha, think we should both have a pop at they Grey's and worse case we would, at the least, learn what NOT to do from each other Maybe decide on a few of the right shades for locations an all. Aye Heritage, painting for me is three fold, your spot o

Heared of the five S's before... Shape Shine (Texture) Shadow Silhouette Spacing Movment (Sure this don't relate to trapping un till it's too late...) Four euro a tin, where the f**k are you picking these up from, back of a lorry!? Haha Starting to

  22. Camouflage, now thats an awesome topic Outlaw P, f**k trying to paint a flektarn mind... When OTC mentioned dpm being desingned for dusk/dawn, I can sort of remember that once when I was reading up about camo, there was a reference to lessons learnt from vietnam, it was saying something along the lines of, the solid black (highlighted by the outline) of the rifle standing out, even with low light and the shadows of the jungle, now this makes me wonder if dying traps black is really such a good idea when there is the alternate of dying it a brown (then maybe streaking it with a lighter or d
