i was thinking the same thing use a jump stick, i've used them on numerous occasions with success.

hi Ditch, i had two snares set & already caught 2 rats a pregnant doe & a buck a bit bigger than the one in the pic, threw them under the hedge they disappeared (fox) ? that rat was found 2' from the bender left on the ground, you can see how far up the wire was snapped and the little snap on clip was nearly straightened out but held, the only other thing hanging about is a wondering cat (not for long if i have my way) the farm dogs are penned up, i'm open to any valid opinions

when you let go of it it will fold down flat the mesh is steel and acts like a chainlink fence, we dont know what it is for so glad of any help there is a name maillinox made in france stamped on the bottom,!!!!

i've used all three types, i started with scissor traps went on to use duffus and talpex, but in order of preference 1st duffus 2nd talpex 3rd scissor, the only reason between 2nd & 3rd is depth of tunnel, i still use all three types as i find helps in different situations, plus its nice to be able to use any type of trap.

hi tf student, try a bit of snaring as well it adds to the fun and only costs pennies, you can find all the info on trapping/snarining put on here by peg & gun a while back. just found it on page 44

i only put down two snares in that place, i put down three in another location had one rat caught under the armpits like on the aviator and two snares knocked, i could only see about 6" of the run and no tidy beats in the grass 2"high and the with is 3' wide by 10' long.
