  1. matt if you made your hole a bit big, just cut a bit of turf away from the tunnel and pack it with that, i hope this helps you
  2. when i worked as a greenkeeper-i used a 4 iron and would wait for movement next to the hills-whack-happy gilmore the little fucks-7 was my best morning with the club-caught 12 in 1 day with traps-the oldboy who worked there would use his .410 and blast the hills-we didnt suffer to bad with moles really, atb bobby my best ever 8 moles out of the same hole, two doubles and 5 of them had ginger patches
  3. bought some off him a while back, went to buy some more off him, he did'nt even ansewer my email, then i found out he was selling to kilgerm, so that made a fool of me promoting his traps to other pest controllers, proves he's only there for money and kilgerm got the monpoly on the product over here, so that's how much he valued his customers over here. I wont be buying any more.
  4. yes they can be useful, i use them aswell camies.
  5. no mate its a crow with half a beak, the top bill is deformed.
  6. i dont know if theres any law on mole traps, i use them all duffus, fenns, talpex etc i find it helps to catch that clever mole who's trap shy.
  7. Doesn't look like a good kill trap has it caught him around the nose? (apologies if i'm wrong) looks like an American trap? it is an American trap, it does kill ok, i just put it up to show how close i came to missing that one. the one that nearly got away.
  8. keeps me interested when you get something different,
  9. hi rolfe i think the fake is on the right, i think that was your original question spot the fake
  10. Another one caught two days after the last one. Would have put the pic up but the Camera was on the blink. As you can see the Breakaway held even though the Fox twisted the snare up pretty bad.
  11. a similar thing happend to me before i could drive, the guy i used to take with me if it was to far to walk to and go 50 50 with on what we earned, went behind my back took on the job when he knew i had past my test, and i thought it was only foxes that were sly.
  12. Another one caught this morning, when the Farmer phoned this morning i was expecting to find this Fox alive.. This Snare also had a stop on it and a Breakaway eyelet on it. The reason for this Fox dying so quickly was that he jumped the fence and broke his neck due to the ditch being 6ft deep.As it was stated earlier on in this thread nothing is 100% Gauranteed.
  13. the main reason i put the pic,s up was to show the breakaway eyelets work well, and so do the stops, i've had 3 foxes at the location of the first picture 2 dogs & 1 vixen and 2 foxes at the other location 1 dog & 1 vixen, all alive. I have to thank snareman for a lot of advice and a good product also thanks to p & g, wodga, moley for there help in the past, it is people like this that make are job easyer and more professional.
  14. hi Rolfe, i had the same problem two weeks ago, i coud'nt even get the probe in the ground i was about to go home and tell them i would come back when it thawed, then i thought i wonder if i lift the mole hill as they were frozen solid, it worked i cleaned out the run set the talpex covered it with a bin bag and a hessian sack to stop the frost, went back two days later, out of three traps set one mole caught job finished.
  15. Here is a pic of the snares that caught these Foxes. As you can see they have Breakaway eyelets on them as devised by Mr G S Waters. The Foxes made quite a mess on the Wires but the Eyelets still held.
  16. Another one this morning in a cage trap. A Vixen in season.Just had a phone call to sort out another fox problem, the Farmer had 6 Geese killed last night.
  17. I've had Twelve of this small acreage in the past two months.
  18. Had these Two in the Wires. One Yesterday and one this morning.Plus had a wire knocked.
  19. theres that pic i promised you trapper 25 did'nt know how to put it on a pm.
