Spot On.The dog is still young and eager.It should soon Settle down.Had the same Problem with My Bitch at first.Now she never Pulls on the Slip.Patience is the Key.And never Hit the Dog.Bad Move in my Opinion.

In my Opinion all Sighthounds have a Reasonable Amount of Intelligence.It's what you Put into the Training of Them.However i would Say the Deerhound has the Superior intelligence out of them All.

Had A Pet one myself About 30yrs ago.Somebody dug a litter of Cubs(About 3 Days old)Only one Survived.It was Given to me has i had a Bitch with Pups the Same age so i thought i would try the Bitch with the Cub.She didn't even Notice the Extra"Pup".The cub grew up thinking it was A Dog.I could call it and it would Come. He would take Food out of my Hand.However if a Stranger came into the Garden it would Hide under the Kennel until the Stranger Left.I had Him until he was about 9months old When somebody try to Steal him out of his Run and he Escaped.I have pics down my Mothers i'll see if she c

Yes the may have been playing but if the farmer had come along he would have had the right to shoot that dog playing or not,playing turns in to attcking, i would go for the long rope first thats what we do with our collies while training and if that dont work and you are at a loss try a leccie collar but must be used in the proper manner Alurcher isnt a collie, a lurcher is a hunting dog, a collie a herding dog... my father has had collies all his life.... A Dog i Bred went to a Pet home and was a Devil for Killing Foxes and Deer so the owner had Him Castrated thinking it would Stop him.Not a Chance the Dog is still At it.He took his First Roe at 11months old.

Went to Feed the Ferrets(two Jills)Only to find one Missing.Everthing ok on the Hutch,Locks on the Run and Sleeping Compartment.The b*****d must have forced the Lock and then put it Back on.Can't understand why they only took the one Jill and left the other one as they were in the same Cage.The other jill is now Up my mates.(Red Dog)
