I have gods only amount of land and a lot of farmers once you get 1 just go to the next farmer say I have permission for mr x and was wondering if I could get permission for yours just so I don't cross any boundries (helps if you have insurance sacs £26 I think) once u get that farmers go on to the next 1 same story have permission for mr x and mr y......
  2. No I live on a farm have had dogs running throgh sheep shot into air dog went running and havnt had bother since it could have been a one off thing
  3. Put a few shots in the air or shoot the dogs put livestalk in field so u have reason lol

Live in between moira and hillsbrough but have car and prepared to travel I'm getting a collie grey tonight or tomorrow all being well 10 months old apparently a good dog but remains to be seen lol any hints or tips an hints or tips would be appriciated and would be great if I could get out with someone

  6. Have been set up with a 11 month old dog a collie grey cross apparenty hopefully a very good 1 just needs a bit more work (as in experiance) if all goes through I should have it monday or tuesday when ill let u know how it is and a few pics

  8. Heard this to apparently they go through "phantom" pregnancys and may lose condition if not sereved how true this is I'm not sure will know better in few months also what is it your shooting .22 air rifel??
  9. Also with birds while you can shoot pigieons or crows all year round there are execptions for example during nesting season you are able to be convicted as your disturbing nesting birds or somthing along those lines but there are several ways round this

You can buy ear defenders from £10 and £50 will buy you a pair of electric 1s that mean you can hear low noises e.g talking but help block out louder noises e.g shots but they are quite big n clomsey I find it hard to shoot with them on but depends on personal preferance at end of the day there's electric ones that go in ur ear like hearing aids but reduce lound noises but still let you hear talking etc I havnt heard any reviews but they seem the best in my eyes any way

  12. O right I live near trumary is there much ground up ur way I do fly fishin ony been into it about 2 years now ferreting this is my first season and shooting been into that all my life so 15 years near 20 now looking to get into lamping just not sure what to get lurcher rifel or both lol

  14. Is it nt illegal to kill any animal with a bolt I was toying with idea of getting a cross bow but heard that n decided not to bother??
  15. I'm traveling up n down to killkeel most weeks trying to get into lurchers have ferrets and guns at the min as well as a springer pup which was bought of a fella up that way also ferreted a we bit up at sandy lands if offer still stands give me a shout atb david

Ok I don't have the facilites at the moment to store or the finances to buy all these rifels will buy a .22 aswell as a cf is there a decent fox calaber for foxs up to 250 yards and a reasonanble sight and silencer? Thanks for remarks so far all been very helpfull and deker u have made ur point lol don't use a sledge to drive in a staple and don't use a claw hammer to drive in a post
  19. So buy the right tool for the right job 22 for bunnies n 223 or similar for foxs?
  20. With 17hmr I got 5/6 headshots on bunnies on shooting sticks havnt reallie used a 22 properly zerod yet but know there harder to shoot as the projectile doesn't fly as straight but having your own is diffrent to shooting someone elses so unsure what to go for to be honnest
  21. Obvously main 2 are the 22 and 17 is there any other rim fires on the market that would b a suitable candidate? For all I will be shooting running costs are not a big issue thanks in advance
