  1. Sorry. I though I put it on. Now I get error message
  2. Digger, my completely untrained dog makes an unbelivable effort after testing him for fun on a retreive... brought him along for a bit of exercise and with some encouragement he has shown me he wants to make an effort.
  3. How far would you go to get that duck? the dog shown is a house dog and has never had any training. I tried to use him first but he didnt know what to do. Please watch yhe next video to see his second attempt.
  4. Cheers.. my bro in laws filmed it.. ill pist in the vid feed when he sends me footage
  5. Out shooting at the weekend with my pet golden retreiver. He's never been out on a shoot before.. typical town and house dog..brought him along for exercise only. I see a duck flying down the river and popped it of.. the arkward bugger lands on opposite bank.. "Digger... fetch it.. go on boy." I gestured, throwing a stone as guidance. In he jumps and across the water.. pulls himself up on to bank, has a few sniffs and comes back.. doh! So I walk up the bank.. cross a narrow waterfall fight my way through shrubs, barbed wire fences, jump ravines to grab my bird and fight way back. I
  6. Maybe this retriever will soon get a chance to.... Retrieve. :D

Not as gorgeous as the gun, no. Lol

  9. Les Paul Tokai guitar. Want to swap for a 12 bore u/o with ejector. Preferably a lamber or other half decent make. Cash also if right gun comes up.
  10. I totally agree , the one. Are disposable ear plugs recommended?
  11. I'll have a nebs at what you got(through Rich) , the main thing I'd be interested in for now is the S/gun. Is your mate in Selby too?
  12. Thanks, The One. I could google, but thought creating a thread would open a discussion and be a bit more sociable. Thanks again Stubby but I'm not after freebies from the forums, just bargains and I'm not talking 99p for defs I just mean cheaper than usual (dont ask dont get). The chaps have there own defs which I can borrow but its hard for 3 of us to wear 2 sets simultaneously. I can take your advise on keeping cartridges in pockets but I'm wanting to get set-up with the right gear. My main idea is to buy items steadily not all at once.
  13. Hi paulus' I've saved that link and will have a read later. Thanks. Hi stubby. I don't have cert yet, will apply for either this month or next month, hense the reason for getting a few accessories in the meantime Will be shooting with a couple of experienced chaps who'll guide me for now. I'm a very sensible' responsible person which is why I'm taking the effort to learn the law. If out on the field I am unsure of a shot, I just wouldn't take it. Thanks for your replies
  14. Eg. I've heard that it is illegal for a dog to kill a mouse but not for a cat. Also I know it's legal to kill pigeons, rabbits and other pests what are the laws on ducks, foxes, pheasants etc (with gamekeeper permission). What animals cannot be killed by law eg. Swans. I'm just starting out so I keep to the right side of the rules and regs. Cheers Ps. Also looking for start up kit as cheap as chips. Eg. Cartridge bag, ear defs. I have nothing at the moment and a VERY tight budget as wife on maternity with our 14 week old and have a 4y/o too. Thanks for your time viewing
