Nope, I assumed diagnostic, as I have never heard any evidence that using US for for injuries did anything much at all, as it is meant to increase blood flow to the area - which if it is already damaged, will happen anyway. I have seen people use them for horses - working the muscles on the quarters, but as far as I see it, that is just a high tech version of a decent grooming or wisping.
We have a ton of old manuals for US and other machines at work in the store cupboard - I'll have a dig around tonight and see if there is one that may suit yours
