    I want to be clear, everybody is obliged to do some disgusting things. No moral sentence IMO. I have to sort out the beautiful and the disgusting before to post anything on facebook.

    If what you do is beautiful, you can show it. Don't matter where you show it (TV, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, local newspaper...). If what you do is awful or disgusting, don't show it. Simple.     Unfortunatly, We have some problems with a bill concerning biodiversity. A few deputies try to introduce a vicious article. They are against badger hunting and they have stupid arguments. In fact, They are legislating on their own urban legends. Consequently, they want to ban hunting of mammals during reproduction period and dependency of youngs. Big games (deer, boar, chamois...) aren't concerned despite they are hunted during these periods. Reproduction and dependency aren't defined. They claim that badger are nursing their youngs for a very long time (without any proof). In

    Eager ! We have to wait the 15th of may, the beginning of a great season of badger hunting in France. I hope.

    Heat isn't a big trouble. Beginning of the season in one week ! Unfortunately, I've some wounded terriers.

    I've three places to work. It's a badger cule organized by State before the hunting season. It should be a good training for dogs before the 15th of may, hunt season.

    If you hunt without electronic collar, a mute dog is a problem. In France, you need baying dogs. When your dog barks, he isn't chewing. You can hear him, locate, dig on him.

    A brave old dog will show you his mind during the work and he will show you his heath in the kennel. Don't judge this old dog during the job, but after. If he needs a long time to rest, perhaps became too weak.

    No freeze branding. It's made with scissors, traditional way. On the pic above, the brand on the harriers is N because the master's name is Monsieur Naudin. The brand on the grand Anglo-Francais is M because the masters are Monsieur & Madame Monot. It's easy if you find a dog in the evening.

    Hervé Cart, Rallye Loue-Lison, is hunting hare with Ariégois. Famous. Two young Masters, Julien Hazotte and François Dole. Rallye Hourvari, they hunt deer with anglo-francais. Very fast. Piqu'Avant Bourgogne, they hunt boar with grands Anglo-Francais. French horns always. They look tired, long hunt and very short night.

    We've hunted during two days in the same place with some different hunts with hounds (boar, hare, fox, deer). Very interesting. Rallye Trusey hunting fox with harriers. Harriers Can i help you ? Fox's in the den, terrierman did the job. Fox had been released for the hunt.

    Sunday we were out hunting big game, deer and boar. Gadoue, black bitche, was with us. She's better in earth than behind boars. She found a fox den. So...

    The end of season is also a time for fanfares and songs.

    20 years ago, a bitch was hunting wild boar during the winter, froze and snow. Some Boars have been shot. When the night came, the bitch was lost. No bitch during two weeks. This little Bitch has been found alive, inside the carcase of a lost boar. She eat the boar. And inside the carcase, nestled with the mother and leaves, three little pups.

    This was the last hunt of the season. Badger hunting is ended until the middle of may.

    Bravo ! The work is completed today, the 9th of january at 17h30 (Paris). Tomorrow we'll hunt with a smile.

    In France all the political parties are largely in favor of hunting activities except EELV ("ecology"). The left side of french politiciens (communists, socialists) are pro-hunt. But EELV is very busy to attack our way of life. They use indirect and very vicious ways (unfair education programs, media campaigns concerning animal's welfare, political reforms for the benefit of urbans but the disadvantage of rurals...). GB is an example often quoted by the french hunt opponents.

    Remember that ban was decided in London, not in Brussel. According to me, your problems don't come from UE. The matter isn't United Kingdom / Europe but Urban / rural. And in that case, londoners seem to be more dangerous than Brussels or Paris.

    How many ? What a prying question ! With this kind of question, answers of most of men are overestimated, those of most of women underestimated.

    Another two days for hunting badgers and it'll be the end of the season. 4 months closed. For next season, we will have two young dogs to start.
