    Foxes, Rabbits ect, only see the White light in any lamp. meaning How much white light penetrates yours lamp filter, So the duller the colour, the less the quarry will see it, Hence If you work a peice of land where the quarry is lamp shy, a red filter is the better option, as they will see less of the light coming from the lamp, then a lamp with a amber filter or no filter at all, They dont have a sense of colour, imo, Atb kyle

    Hi guys, im looking to go into gamekeeping college, I am 23 years old, with 3 kids.     How long you had him lamping? He is still a pup mate, and has some maturing to do, may be a phase, Patience, Persistence, and he will come through it. if by this time next year he shows no improvement, then yes rid of the thing. atb kyle.

    Hi, Regardless of working or not, the pups arnt out the box workers when older,they still need time and effort investing into them, In my opinion (which may be wrong in some peoples eyes) say you buy a whippet pup, for £200 no working parents, or a whippet pup £300 with working parents, the efforts in both dogs will need to be the same to get them to make the grade. Because the parents dont work doesnt mean the pup wont work, thats down to you as the owner, Although some dogs simply do not make the grade even with alot of training.     Thanks for the reply, I mean the dog he got was a 2 year old whippet, supposedly working, but you know how it is, if was a good working dog he wouldnt of got rid of it, I work a whippet, and a bull x grey. So ive taken the dog off my mate in hopes of it picking up from my dogs, but i was wondering if 2 years old is too old, and too far gone to erase the bad habits it has picked up, and get it working.     Hello guys, So my friend acquired a 2 year old whippet from someone, as much as i tried to talk him out of buying a aged dog expecting to take it straight in the field, i tried telling him to buy a pup, put in the effort, and make the dog what you want it to be. Anyway so he bought this dog, he brought it out with me for a days mooch, lets just say this, i've never in my life seen anything like it, when my dog pushed one up, My dog put on chase, to then see this whippet who SUPPOSEDLY had experience try to tackle my dog while doing business, Lets just say i was pissed (understatement).
