    Wow the catty section has been so slow lately, nobody got anything to contribute? Recent hunting exploits maybe. I haven't been doing too much lately as I've been too busy, hoping to get some pheasant put away over the Christmas holidays.

    Not had one go really far in one go. An unfit harris hawk wont be capable of doing a really long flight anyway. I've only really used mine for cover

    Nice one mate I haven't said mine yet. Just realised. I've had loads with the catty but my best has got to be the rabbit I hit on the run when we was ferreting. Rabbits were hole hopping all the time. So pulled the catty out and dropped a rabbit as it bolted with 12mm steel. Just saw it roll over kicking. I was ecstatic

    Thanks mate. To be honest I need to add abit more rubber for some more power. The short singles are ok for short range but I was getting big drop offs on longer shots. The long drawn singles are still working good though

    Weathers beem terrible lately. Also been struggling to find suitable slips while lamping but she's had some very unlucky misses. Anyway went out with hawking Yorkshire and his male and female Harris flying all 3 together. Kill number 14: First set dropped the ferret down and the first rabbit bolted. Both females chased it hard. Brads female hit its arse but didn't pin it. The rabbit jinked and my bird hit the head as it did. Split second later brads female was on the rabbit too. Had another couple of chases after that but nothing came of it
