i know but you can't run a dog it's field of rock if u heard of the burren in north clare you know what i mean u could not put a dog to ground there caves and holds never get them out the gun is the only thing.

well lads.was ask to lamp two farms to see if i could shoot a fox that was seen around there. so last nite i headed up for a look.had a lamper with me danny a young lad that is mad for lamping.i rang the farmer to say i was going up and he said hang one on the gate if i get one i said ok.it was a bad nite windy but no rain but that helped.rough land could not run a dog on it so the gun was used and for all the digging men here it could not be dug as it all rock and a lost of a dog would be for sure.the short story is on the first farm i shot 2 fox's some nice shot well out.on the the second

thanks wag we have to do it ourself.then send it off it a pain alright but as you said had to be done,alot of duck around keeping me in good shooting form love them teal. yep you carnt beat a bit of teal bashing we have got alot of pinks here at the moment coming over the house every morning our lads are getting in to them most mornings im going in the morning regards wag i never see a real pink let a lone shoot them i wish i wish.

WELL LADS WENT OUT FOR A WHIP FOR DUCK TODAY ALOT OF RAIN FALL HERE WHIT AFEW DAY AND THE STRONG WIND AT SEA WOULD PUT THE DUCK WELL IN,GOT TO MY SPOT AD SET UP WITH 17 DECOYS OUT IT WAS JUST GETTING BRIGHT.THERE WAS A FEW DUCK O THE MOVE BUT I HELD OUT FOR AWHILE SMOKE A FAG AND WATCH 6 SWANS FLYING IN AND OUT SOME SITE TO SEE THEM CLOSE UP.ANYWAYS I SHOT 2 MALLARD 2 WIGEON AND A TEAL A GOOD MORNING WAS HAD, DOG WORKING WELL,WHEN I GOT HOME HAD TO GO TO FIRE PRACTICE AND THEN CSI GONE WRONG A MATE AND I GOT THE RUBBERGLOVE OUT AND THE SWAB TO GET DNA FROM THE DUCK TO BE TESTED FOR BIRD

Another cracking story mate! You should write for a magazine or something Sounds like you have some great shooting there, i have my fair share of permission but yours seems exceptional. We were out last night too, lovely weather for it. Rabbits were sitting so tight wasnt sporting to shoot them - luckily we had the dog! well lads the mother-in-law called tonight for tea with her son that mad for lamping he ask me to go for a whip so i grabed the lamp and the .243 a headed out went to a place i knew where there was a dead cow in a swamp with a few week and as i put the lamp on i spotted a fox out on a hill about 180yards out handed the lamp to danny line the fox up. bang drop him. with a look around i spotted another fox about yards out and about 10 yards away from the dead cow. bang,numder 2 fox down with another look around saw a fox running flat out the other way.danny was mucked to his waist. but wi

went out with a mate on his gunclub land for woodcock heres a few pictures also out here with my gundealer for a few shots great day the day with my gundealer

well be short and sweet .had a bad result on reds saw about six in one field got into about 500 yards they were on top of a hill heading over it. i try to get closer but no good they went over the hill i got to the top of the hill they were gone along way out as they were so far away and it was bog it was to far to and they were to big to get them pulled out i left them off.we tryed another place where i shot a fallow buck so was still happy cheer sounder

well lads going in the morning for red deer with a lad i met at a big fire one nite he does alot of shooting so with a phone call made last nite we are going first thing.don't know what to expect he said he was talking to a farmer that said there was 17 red in one field every morning so hopefully i get a shot at a big stag.as there was a stag shot with this same man a 22 pointer. i will let ye know how i get on cheers sounder
