Theories have some logical thought behind them.Christianity exists to cultivate human weakness making people easier to rule. Well, the whole Jesus story is suspect mate, no doubt about that. But I was referring to creation, the start of things. We haven't an effing pot of glue, have we ? A well thought out theory of intelligent design and Christianity are 2 different things.

Tyson had a very extreme 1 dimensional style IMO. There are a lot of great boxers through history that would have made him look stupid even at his best. A lot wouldn't have made it passed round 3 with him.

But you are a big strong lad who knows what you are doing........are we going to trust old Auntie Vera to know what shes doing ?.....keeping in mind a lowlife is more likely to choose the easiest target............dangerous ground if you ask me. Cars can be dangerous,so we make people pass tests before they can drive one alone. Why not just make a very stringent set of tests (psychiatric,physical,weapon handling,marksmanship) and background checks etc? Although I'd be happy if they just legalised pepper spray.

I've never seen anyone do 100 in 2 minutes and them all be done correctly. my best was 95 I think but if i was being watched properly only about 50-60 would have actually counted @ bornhunter,for the press ups and sit ups average time per rep dont really matter,everyone i've seen who gets high numbers doesnt slowly and steadily push on. they go like f@ck for about 50 reps which will probably take a fair bit less than 50 seconds then rest,then again for maybe 15 reps and rest again,and do that until they run out of time. it's about keeping the momentum going if you're going fo

It's a huge coincidence if it is one though isn't it? Malt-I don't know,I haven't looked into it,I just think the northern people kept their religion purer for longer so don't read specifically about other people. Probably will move on to Greek mythology,when I've got a better grasp on what I'm looking into now. I'm guessing it would take a lot of research to decode the mythology and find out.

@ malt-I'm sure there is a lot of good info on documentaries. But some ive seen conflict pretty largely with what I've read and pretty easily understood myself,the whole perception of Valhalla,ragnarok and Asgard for example.

Fecking hell this is purely in the field of anthrapology and human psychology but I'll have a bash. How many people actually sacrifice their lives for complete strangers? I mean an adult sacrificing their life for a child is completely understandable, we are pre programmed to protect the young, that pre programming probably doesn't distinguish between fatal and non fatal outcomes just a response to a situation. I've read plenty of stuff and watched plenty of documentaries about ancient religions from the Celts to ancient Greeks, it seriously interests me living in a part of the world with plenty of sites to visit. Not proof as such but certainly gives a better picture than picking stuff out my head and coming out with it just because I think it sounds about right.. I didn't say our ancestors were hippies,or wiccans,modern people have interpreted the religion mostly IMO in 1 of those 3 ways. I believe they were true to nature,which can be cruel and is uncompromising. They may well have used slaves,we also know the lineage was very important to them so we can assume they almost certainly had some sort of hierrachy/caste system,so what? The point is the ideaology isn't/wasn't used as a method of control. Where's your proof it was just like any modern religion?

Where's your proof? You want me to show you sources that Christians forced people to convert? That negroids have low IQ's? That chinks don't empathise? Or that paganism evolved independently in Europe? The last one I will struggle to prove,but I think logic would dictate non-Europeans would have avoided northern Europe,and I think the religions of Europe where basically the same.

Doesn't being an overbearing parent defeat the object? Constantly unnecessarily interfering in your childs life making them uncomfortable and embarrassed and probably unable to figure relationship problems out for themselves....to protect them from being made uncomfortable or embarrassed. And then what about when they move away or you die,and they've come to rely on you? They now don't know a good man from a bad one because,the decent and proud lads wouldnt tolerate an annoying old man breathing down their neck.
