The stock was finished in possibly the hardest hard core varnish ,1 and a half tins of nitromorse and 2 hours later were at a stage were we can start sanding Above are pics before we started runs all over and basically awful finish the chequering was pooled with varnish

    Lol thanks for replys ! Yea sounds Like bit more rubbing down in order david I used the harshest 1st to remove everything then your just chasing out the scratches but it will all come out eventually Quick update fridge is stocked up with bevis for tonights stock session saved it for tonight as our tom wanted in on the action so when he arrives we will get cracked on and will upload loads of pics as we go. Picked up a bargin jsb pro target scope off another member last night so will be hopefully arriving early next week and got my eye on some really nice quality silver double bolt mounts a

    Ah yea know kirklees I mainly use swillington or aaron wheelers or henry kranks But redbecks are good lads just bit of a trail across wakey to it Il keep my eyes peeled for a nice stock if one came up cheap would be tempted lol

    Old series landy carnt go wrong cheap parts reliable well ish and great fun welding them back together every year and picked up cheap enough.

    Thanks mate!! .Yea definitely carnt beat a good fettle any excuse to take something apart I jump at the chance haha Had a hour in garden with it earlier was bit up and down at 1st but settled down nicely now 15 shots through chrono it stayed in the 11.4s so carnt argue with consiatancy either with silencer on its quietend it right down just a dull thud of piston really pleased with outcome know keep saying it but made up. Very little recoil too shot like a dog when bought it completely diffrent rifle to use now. Couple of pics with mod on.......
