    I'm still pondering about the set up maybe to use top hat but cut it down slightly anyone done this before ??? Just to lighten it abit and bring power down with it fitted. My next problem is some complete and utter divvy has replaced the underleaver holder block (no idea what its called) with a wrong length wrong thread cheap stainless bolt and completly shagged the threads in barrel then glued it in wtf! I imagine to sabe about 2 pounds of cost of actual bolt for the job frrom chambers now the problem is if I order bolt its not going to work anymore as all cross threaded so any ideas any

    . As can see had to cut a lot of coils in end anyone fitting titan springs beware these produce huge power fair enough was wrong spring but 18ft lbs from the packet seems quite consistent too now

    Bit of a update not had much time last few days so got cracking this afti stripped down and I've removed the top hat and put 3 preload washers at the top and 1 at the bottom was aiming for 11 ft lbs and. ........ UNBELIEVABLE! !!!!!! was slightly below then stripped and regreased up thinking that will do and that was 1st reading when put back together was well chuffed its staying betweem 10.9 and 11.05 now so not bad Happy with tthat few pics ofvwhat done today ...

    Thanks bud !! Yea I watched the vid last night a great guide and worked a treat thanks! did it before work this morning and got it almost as flat and smooth as the manufactured end so happy chappy! With help from my brother (tomburras on forum) we got it firing at 10.51 and pretty consistant too so added top hat again that took it back up to 14.56 so stripped down and had to head out to work gutted! I'm not happy with the twang the top hat gives so thing next plan is to remove and have 1 washer at top to aid spring twist inside piston and pre load from bottom spring guide see how that feels .

    Wow will update later as at work this eavning but glad I bought a chrono as was at 18 ft lbs! !!!!! Still fellling with top hat ,pre load etc but at 10.5 now going to try creap to bang on 11

    Yea bloody things on my mind day and night lol our lass and kids sick of seeing and hearing about it don't want to cut more from spring untill chrono as pissing money away if do but it was ridiculous loud and pretty sure still over sure once its right will be spot on but all this was unexpected as was ment to be v mach tuned firing at 11.1 when bought lol but sometimes when its cheap its cjeap for a reason will get there oh and to add insult to injury the barrel end that holds underleaver in place fell off tonight looks like was glued in with wrong bolt and is threded so getting replacement bo

    Cut couple of coils as had no choice really.. Managed to get it back together not and its hard to cock put 1 shot through it and sounded like a centre fire rifle !!!! Kicks like mule so guessing going to need at least same again taking off will trim up and take for chrono tomorrow before work then bend coil end down to seat nicely bet bloody power up now though lol its stripped down just to be safe as not having it off ticket fac!!!!

    Bit of a update I've been and bought a new titan spring today after work and started getting it fit ... Sanded the deep scores from spring guide and removed top hat and pre load washers its still far too long to put back in any ideas how much to trim off or should I just cut maybe 2 coils at a time untill it will cock and cut as needed after a chrono never trimmed a spring before don't know why they not pre set per gun really. Its a titan xs no.9 as that's whay gunsmith reccomended. Cheers

    I've been looking at the welsh willy kits they seem good well review's do think its a titan spring and derlin top hat and spring guide ?? Anyone used this kit and removed the metal top hat and metal guide ?

    There was 2 thin washers in to start with I added another today about as thick as them two that was in. I forgot to add I checked the piston seal had loads of pressure with finger over end and stopped me from pushing any further at all. The breech seal looked fine too? The shoe seemed a lot more snug than the 1 I removed and carnt feel any play when cocked

    The groups it was getting after clean up ... There is around 10 pellets in each group as can see was improving but odd few completely out of the groups guessing was dropping in consistancy started in middle then bottom then top groups were much beter
