  1. Hi all im updating my website and im after some good pictures of rabbits grazing and some ferreting pictures like a ferret going in to a hole purse netting and long netting pictures. I will put a thank you on the pictues if placed on my web site Regards Dowen.

  3. Well my ferrets normally when the suns out go in the shade but i have a mad castrated polecat when the suns out hes sunbathing and loves it i took some pictures the other day. And heres a couple of pictures of my kitts.

  6. Well they have finally arrived mother and kits all doing well i think there is about 6 but didnt want to disturb her to much even though shes not bothered heres a couple of pictures.

Trouble with myxomatosis is caused by the the myxoma virus this mutates and changes so when you get a lul its due to risistance in the rabbits then when the strain mutates it will cause another out break so thats why it will never go away. Last year was a bad year due to being being so wet and increase in mosquitoes population which spread the virus as well as fleas.

If you have got good working ferrets who now there job i agree with stubby no more digging involved to be honest i very rarley dig they are just more prone to stay then bolt but will bolt in the end if you have a good ferret. A lot of places no chance of purse netting due to under growth and nettles so i use long nets with dog. I also this time of year prefer to use my albino rather then the polecat as its murder trying to see polecat in the under growth if your doing hedge bottoms thats just my opinion cheers Dowen.

  10. The only advise i can give you is try before you buy other wise its a expensive learning curve it all depends on your budget but gen3 is the way to go if you can afford it.
  11. I had one ok for ratting in barns had trouble rabbitting at 50 yards zooming in chouldent get on with the v target indicator hope that helps regards Dowen.

  13. I am after borrowing a hob to mate with my albino jill i would perfer a silver but will look at pole cat ect i have asked all over but no luck will pay. Im in Worksop Pm me regards Dowen.

  17. no i didnt she kept clawing when i picked her up but at my arm.
  18. He didnt know Stubby he says its very rare they pull through when there as ill as that he said it might be destemper but its very rare just keep my fingers crossed the others will be o.k.

Well im gutted went out ratting with the dogs when i came back checked on the ferrets 2 came out no sighn of my silver jill opened her bedding box and she was very ill layed still and hyperventalating well i took her in the house and she started fitting so phoned emergency vet and rushed her over and he checked her over and we came to agree it was best to put her asleep she was only 1 year old im completley gutted.
