stubbys i think u are a bit to big headed
and I think your getting a warning on your first day on here hunter12, keep it up,
Whats all that about hunter 12.
Yes i told the receptionist Stubby i wanted the snip for the hob but i was suprised i didnt have any contact with the vet before operation to be honest didnt even know about castration thought snip was the norm. But i think you should see the vet before operation just to make sure your singing from the same him sheet . Im just gutted as i was happy with 2 jills and 1 hob now it looks like having to get another and then having snip to serve jills i shall see
i will see the vets and see what we can sort out but they cant put them back can they.
Well there has been a bit of a mix up at the vets i wanted my hob polecat vasectomised so he could mate my jills and the vet has castrated him. I have been told that a castrated hob will not mate with the jills. So really gutted if i got another hob and had him vasectomised whould i be able to keep him with the catrated one and jills or would they fight any ideas would be helpful regards Dowen.

Thanks for that crow i will have to build a pen i must admit i have tried this with the hutch but she trys pushing at the mesh wich is strong enough to hold ferrets but is not strong enough to stop my dog pushing in. So i will build a pen with stronger mesh cheers Dowen.
I have a lakeland cross Fell terrier i have a problem with her with the ferrets unfortunatly i had her a year before the ferrets and she goes mad when she sees them and trys to kill them . I use her for ratting but would like to take her rabbitting but dont want her to grab a ferret as it comes back up a rabbit hole any suggestions please Dowen.
Night vision is the way to go you can stand in pitch dark and pop them off you will need a gen2 as i found gen1 crap for ratting i have got a digital night vision but havent been out ratting with it yet i will let you know regards Dowen.
I went to feed the ferrets today and the ferrets had opened the top hutch door and were both sat there waiting for me i was gob smacked as normally they try and jump out when i open the door and as you know under normal situation they would be gone so thank my lucky stars i have had a lucky escape cheers Dowen.
I use shavings in my ferret hutch and i noticed today when i put them in there run sounded a bit whezzey i assume the shavings dust is getting on there chest as they also sneezed a couple off times any ideas thanks Dowen.
This is not a contender as it was last year and didnt have a tape measure but as you can see from the size of the buck compared to a full house brick biggest i have caught and it was caught in a fenn trap regards Dowen.
Light force is the best lamp ive used attachs to your scope light as a feather and fantastic brightness like a car headlamp is a bit pricey but really good regards Dowen.
Some ones talking sense god knows what the pest controller was on about you whould be better getting a proffesional pest controller i wouldent recommened using poison baits unless properly trained as they want putting in tamper proof boxes and putting in the correct places (runs) and secured to the ground so they cant be picked up or tipped contents out. As for fenn traps they do work for a while but the rats do get wise to them they still have to be put in the correct places and covered with a artificial tunnel to protect from non target spices. Dont worry rats are all over they do feed fro
