Heres a couple of pictures of my wild nasty polecat stick your hand in his cage he would have it off Sorry couldent resist only joking but as people have said if it was caught in a Fenn trap it would be dead or seriously injured and even if it was semi wild there is no way you would be able to hold it like that its probably been lost by someone rabbitting.

Well i bought some Mossy oak clothing its a windproof suit from Ronnie Sunshines well ive been out with it a couple of times shooting and ferreting and there to good ive been sweating buckets. Im sure they will be brilliant in winter at 3am in the morning but is there any good suits that you can were in the summer lightweight and cool many thanks regards Dowen.

Yes you right Stubby I could of done with some more extra hands and I know that you need to put a load of ferrets down but as i said i have only 2 adults and the other 3 are this years young ones the porpose of yesterday was to give the young ones a run out I will start buying extra collars but there is no rush and the dog whos only 2 years old and is still to excitable and the saying is practice makes perfect and it was a nice afternoon out and we got 7 rabbits im happy with that thanks for the input cheers Dowen.

Well I thought it was time to have a go with this year’s stinkers we did one of my permissions which is race horse gallops I ran my two experienced ferrets through and when cleared then run the young stickers as I have only 2 collars and 5 ferrets we were there a few hours and ended up with 7 rabbits here’s some pics. And here’s a picture of the young stinkers tired after a hard work and play. A big thank you to Steve and Tony for helping me hope you enjoyed it as much as me. :victory

I do quite a lot of banks and just set the quickset longnets around the warren and peg down any gaps. I was thinking is there any way i can set the quicksets one at the top of bank and one along bottom of bank and some sort of short net with a leaded bottom down the banks like a ditch net is there anything for this and what is it called as i have never come across this but i dont want 2x50 yard quicksets with leaded bottoms look foward to your replys Regards Dowen.

Hi im selling this AirArms S410 Carbine the scopes are 3x16 x50 and are powder coated in realtree dont know make came with my new gun but i have put my MTC viper on them i have looked through the scope and its clear comes with 2x 10 shot magazines. Face to face sale only selling due to getting Daystate MK3 I have had this rifle 2 years and lost count how many bunnys and rats shot with it. Location Worksop near Sheffield price £350.

Thats what kept happening to mine so put sand in dosent matter if it gets wet they can go in to the dry to be honest they spend most of the day in the sand in all weathers apart from there mid day nap. Its really heavy duty some sort of ducting piping i came across. -
Well i have just built a two level court which links to a 3 level hutch by pipes for my 6 ferrets i made the court all materials for £60 which im well chuffed had to scrounge a few bits. And after a lot of thought ie cleaning them out i put the lot on legs so i dont have to bend down. Also in the bottom court after a lot of thought i put building sand in and they love it always digging and playing and rolling in there still have a bit more to do but so far im happy heres a few pics. Hi Millet its not ice it was a really old bungalow I think there were old spiders web with dust on does look like ice on photo but trust me i was sweating buckets up there and it filled 4 bin bags. -
Had a phone call last week to treat a wasps nest and remove in a loft of a bungalow a company had been to fit loft insulation and refused. when i got up there i can imagine the poor blokes face when he saw it checked it and it was a old one.

Just intrested what people use as bait for live trapping with what success i have used peanut butter sardines, sausages, chocolate with good success look foward to your replys Dowen.

Also try your local RSPCA centre that was were mine was when he escaped he had caused mayhem around the estate going in peoples houses while they were watching T.V. keep my fingers crossed for you go round your neighbours and let them know as word spreads when people see a ferret running around gardens some one will remember about you telling them and come back to you.

I agree with the others to young i would take her out just for the exercise with another dog i took mine out at 9 months the other dog was chasing the rabbit and she was chasing the other dog wanting to play give it time.

I have a Lakeland/Fell terrier shes fine with them when im there but i would never leave her on her own with them but shes fine out rabbitting with them regards Dowen.
