    Totally agree with Terryorr on what he has said,knowing him as I do it comes as a surprise that he has said something that makes sense ha ha.The people that organise these shows no matter how big or small are doing it for the benefit of the hunting,shooting,fishing community and also benefiting some very good charities.Like Terry I don't know Albert or any other people here thet run shows but I judged a few in England and seen what goes on behind the scenes,and I don't envey them there job.Let's shake the hands of these people that spend a lot of there time promoting our sport,it is for our b

    Thanks for the comments and at the start of the thread i did think it was leaning my direction but as it went on it became clear that it wasnt.In relation to worker to worker breeding thats fine as long as you are not in the terrier game for the long haul,there are men in this game that have dedicated there entire life to keeping and breeding there dogs the RIGHT way,men that have had marriage break ups,lost there jobs,and been on there uppers but still strived to do it the right way.What is the right way? who knows but if your digging some thing close to what you started with 30 years ago and

    I am sorry i cant answer for other people, but if i deemed some one good enough to give a terrier to,[NOT SELL}then giving out the breeding and advice on future breeding if needed and asked for wouldnt be a problem.

    When i first went after my first black terrier i had got to know the person who had them,i then dug with them and seen the dogs that i wanted a pup from,this didnt happen over night and i had to prove my worth to them.It is all to easy now for money to buy instant success in sport and it seams in dogs{but does it}when all some one has to do is wright down a load of names which now adays is in most books that are wrote and sell there dogs on as out of this line.Also there are dogs that have been give out to terrier men that are not supposed to be passed on but for what ever reason they are and

    I am not going to get involved in this school yard squabble,but i would like to voice my oppinion on the slander being thrown at D/S.I judged the EDRD for D/S this year and on no occassion was i or my fellow judge asked to favour a certain dog.I dont know D/S that well having only meet him twice but i take people as i find them and i found both him and his wife to be spot on.I dont attend shows very often and when you see the pettyness on here over a rossette its no wonder.

    Would just like to say a big thank you danny to you and that beautiful wife of yours for a great time.It was a pleasure to judge the terriers and to meet up with old and new.All the organisers take a bow you all done an excellent job,will surly attend this show again,but will leave the night life alone i am f--ked lol,getting to old.A big thank you again.

    i am sure the thieves are passing these dogs on quickly to a middle man or men,so as not to be caught with them and leave them free to strike again.somebody somewere must know something, dogs been offered upfor sale, or phone calls asking can you kennel a dog.its time this was brought to a stop by what ever means.

    [it was about 20 years ago i seen the dog dug to,i bloke called steve who came from london brought the dog over.a friend of mine used him over alot of bitchs and there is abit of stuff here that goes back to him.i knew he was out of winston and tanner but dont know the breeding of them,samward is going to let me know the breeding to winston so any info on tanner would be helpful.thanks.

    i was wanting to know a bit about the breeding of a red fell called bone,he was owned i believe by someone called casey from london.the dog was breed out of a bitch called tanner and a dog called winston,i seen the dog work over here a good few years ago,also tanner she was black and tan would like to know if any one else seen him and there thoughts,also the breeding behind winston and tanner,thought your dad might have some info on these dogs samward.
