I`ve been keeping ferrets for 30 plus years, and a couple of months ago I put my hob on a diet .But he did not lose any weight.
When I went out to feed him tonight he was chewing on and eating a slug. When presented with food (dried) he had a sniff and
went back to his slug  .
fecking brilliant.
Nice one, but aren't you a little far away. Or maybe you can help via phone any way cheers. The pony comes from Danny, he needs the room. I'll bell you when I get it.
I am about to get a pony, I am getting it to do some work around my fishery, am I mad ?
If not is there any one in the Kent area that knows how to train one please contact me. I can pay, trade labour or fishing or whatever. Lee
Good food, plenty of meat. Cut the dreads off. One of my dogs is six and has only ever had three baths and his coat is as shiney as feck. I'm sure if he stayed indoors he would of had more, but as said dont bath to often.
Now I dont wish to insult any one, I usually have some face hair in winter, but I think there are a lot more mustaches north of Watford. Saying that there are quite a few in Kent that I have noticed since I moved here from London where mostly Asian men and women wear them. I must say Airgunner yours is the Daddy.
Just remember as Ditch said only the head with an air rifle and if that doesn't work pm me I'm in Kent, if your not too far I will sort them for you.
Good luck Lee
I am the master of locating stuff, BT yard in the morning, a trailer, a drink for the man, job done and as many as I can carry.
thanks for the replys.
Didn't even have to do any telephone wire removal, ay Ditch.
Hello Shaggy, if your hobb is being versectomised then he will still act like a full tackled hobb and may bully your jills so a good idear to keep them seperate while they are all in season. I would give the jills the big hutch.
Wrong time of year to be introducing a pup to an outside kennel, unless with another dog. If a pup is not used to it, it will create. you could always get some type of heater, infra-red etc. The best way to do it would be to put it out in the summer and let it acclimatise as the seasons get colder and even this sould be done bit by bit. At least if it keeps howling you can(after telling it to shut up a few times) chuck a cup of cold water at it, this has worked for me. You cant do the water thing in the winter.
As said when done properly its all good. But driving across young crops and turning like your actually coursing the quarry in your motor, that is actually reckless. I still think the original culprit's are complete tossers.
It has lost us a lot of game and work for our dogs.
