  1. Work to ground! She'd go down a mole hole if she could. she's very good when ferrets kill in you only have to open a hole up and she's in to drag dead rabbit out.

  4. Thanks for the replys, I can't wistle loud and consistantly and in the dense cover it's me letting the dog down. If he is ignoring comands for recall how do I go about that, recall is as good as I would hope for, it's just in cover he plays up.
  5. I have a two year old terrier, which is used mainly for bushing. I have used my own whistle (two fingers in the mouth) for recall and it works well except in dense cover! I'm now going to change to a 210 1/2 whistle, any tips on how to train for this or do I need to start recall oll over again?
  6. it was the hb that was low from the blood test results, stools were very dark. he had a 2 week course of 3 sets of tablets 3 times a day(not sure what they were exactly) and was put on a sicence plan id diet. im taking him to a recomended vet from this forum tomorrow ill let you know the out come
  7. Yes it could be signs of problem with liver but I would suspect heart problem ,If the dogs is inactive and has pale gums after being out. Does it tire very easily? no he wont tire easy hes never stopped once when im out with him. vets checked his liver, kidneys ect and there all fine.
  8. i have just taken him off puppy food onto natures diet with some burns complete mixed in with it, what do you mean by a change of diet?
