    Ive read this topic and generally agree with most of whats been said, id just say that whether that ad was entirely true or not KG's reputation can only have been built on solid stock or he would have been found out years ago. In the end its just like cleanspade said , it depends on where youre moral compass is set at if you would have a pup off a big producer or not. And in pre ban days the greater ammount of lads out working up and down the land produced big volume breeders.

    Im not bothered about travel to be honest, i just dont want to be at another show like betley where they ask for entered terrier category and a load of non working muts go in again.

    Sorry if this topic is in the wrong section, thought id ask for suggestions as to what the best shows etc to go are? Ive only been to a few but the last couple werent very good with very few working terrier lads there.

    Just thought id write a quick hello, i joined a week or two ago. My favourite topic is earthdogs and terrierwork. I dont claim to be an expert but ive had dogs all my life and have kept soley terriers for 10yrs, but have only in the last couple of yrs got into working them. So any advice or even invites to come on a good days terrierwork would be greatly appreciated.

    Its a b*****d to get, ive got a bit its just a waiting game now. Ive got a Fell dog 7mth old who im starting off at rats and see how he goes. But my big hope is my two lakeland bitches theyre only pups but theyre both bold as brass, the black n tan is the toughest pup ive ever had, she puts the irish bred staffords ive had to shame haha.
