I personally like a bull cross to be able to catch most things And have heart to see the job done That should be the standard you judge a dog by,not what breeds or % of breeds are in there , So gaffer,to answer your thread ,the correct % of bull in a bull cross is the dog that is in front of you doing the business,if that's a 1/2 then it's a 1/2. As regards to their ability I'll tell you in a year or so ,I ain't going to say they are great and good all rounder etc just because I have one lol it will depend on what the parents have done and what you put in front of them but hopefully they will do a job

Yes see what you are saying gafer all the stud dogs litter mates where rough so there's maybe a 25% chance he carries the genes for it and then breeding to a smooth bull cross who isn't big enough. and a stud dog that beddy whippet grey.He ain't going to add size to a bitch that isn't big enough is he. Maybe start with a bigger rougher dog and a bigger bull cross bitch that's quick enough. Just a though kev you can't add genes that ain't there . As I said early buy a pup of the stamp that you like and the parents doing the job you want ....just my honest opinion Good luck what

It doesn't necessarily go that a 1/4 is racier than a 3/8 or even 1/2 for that matter you need to pick a stamp you like from parents that do what you want . My bitch is 3/8 and I've seen heavier 1/4s in fact heavier saluki crosses lol Should be what they do not how they look What do you want in a bull cross gafer?

I think the problem,with the cheaper ones ,is they are recycled batteries, they don't all carry the same voltage or Amperes ,a sure fire way to wreck torches,start fires and wreck any good batteries you may have,they also don't last as long as they are usually already part through their life in a laptop or power tool etc etc . Buy cheap buy twice (usually) there's plenty on the net about them ,I think a few links have been put on this thread early on.
