    all my dogs have been around my kids from day 1 and when i have a litter the bitch is indoors and my kids help. also when mind have done a days graft they come inside infront of the fire and it's never messed up them being working dogs.

    Hi, your in a good area for trainer's, you could try george wilson that owns the dad of your pup he's in co.durham. David lissett has a great set of dvd's for training.

    I walk all my dogs the same all year round which a good couple of hours but my spaniels when not on the leads are training so they know no differents when the season come and i also up there food.

    if she's your first take her take pro trainer for 1 to 1 when she's about 16 weeks old when she knows her name and starts bring stuff back to you. where abouts it the country are as i mite be able to tell you a good trainer. I train for a gundog club and have had so many people come to us saying they were not happy with the kennel club training class. The best thing i can say take your time with her mind don't start trialing or picking up till there 18 months - 2 years of age. Hows she breed?

    I always used vasaline on the areas before she starts. But i'd never put a young dog of that ago into brambles cud put him off if he gets to smashed up.

    try going back to when you first started with her, go back to dummies and balls for a couple of weeks. then put a wing onto half a dummy same with rabbit skin until she's happy carrying them around. Never use wood pigeons on a young dog, a partridge is a good full bird to use. Have you ever told her off for pegging birds or rabbits?

    i an had a terrier this year that had it but was put to a dog at 14 days but stayed in for 6 weeks had to put her on a course of anti's, which did the job.

    have you tried using your hands first doesn't cost anything but always put a dummy or ball out so it's a good thing then move up to a gun but take it slowly. but for a gun try turner richards, ebay, blackdog, quest, lintran.
